He was the first walkout I packed this year, and I figured I would write a review on him. Since packing him, I have put him into a 4-2-3-1 (2) as the right CDM alongside Goretzka and behind Brandt. Out of the three, surprisingly, I have found Kimmich being the most productive in both attack and defense. He works the entire game, getting both forwards and back. He always finds his way into good attacking positions and makes great runs into space. I used him in 8 rivals games, and he scored 7 goals from the CDM position. He feels a lot quicker than I expected him to, even though I did not have a chem style on him. His finishing was also surprisingly good, but the shot power was actually pretty poor from closer range 1 touch finishes. His lofted through balls were incredible, and his passing linkup overall with Brandt and Goretzka was amazing. His dribbling, even being one of his higher stats, felt pretty average for a CDM, nothing notable here. His defending was very good, except when he faced up against bigger and stronger attackers, such as Haaland. The lack of strength was pretty apparent at times, and he got pushed off the ball on occasion.

-Felt very quick

-Better than expected shooting/finishing

-Excellent passing

-Works forwards and backwards

-Doesn't run out of stamina

-A bit weak

-Dribbling was slightly disappointing

Joschua Kimmich RTTF Review
Joshua Kimmich is a great CDM who is great defensively and offensively he won't be scoring a lot of goals but will assist and start attacks very well . I used him in my WL and he is great because of his great acceleration he also catches a lot of the r1 dribblers . His passes and crosses are great. His Dribbling is suprisingly good
