Firstly, I am really surprised not to see any other reviews and I felt obliged to write one for doing justice to this maestro even though I only played ten matches yet in Division 2. I lost promotion twice with one point :(

I frankly did not like his normal card months ago and I can’t stand to him even for 5 matches but while looking for a total midfielder cheaper than Nainggolan and Mathaus, I noticed his stats. I like H/H if I have Kante etc. in my team. Besides Gullit always there if you need him :) so I like him going up and down while he could easily defend and use his strength even against Icons in the midfield.

He is quite fast and quick I am not experiencing any problem with his balance etc. despite his balance stat indeed led me to think twice. I dont understand passing difference that much since my players are usually good passers but I dont remember a bad pass in ten matches.

I am not using his Finishing ability that much since I use R9, Henry and Gullit in the box and they are ok :) but I use his long shots and shot power a lot, it’s quite fun cause he always gets himself to a spot to shoot, even more than KDB 94 that I have in subs.

I bought him for 190k and it is a great deal cause very similar cards cost at least twice. I won’t lie, his nationality and league is actually not great this FUT since I did not use any Italian or Calcio A players this year but it’s good for me now cause I got untradeable Benatia who is even better than Blanc or Rio prime etc.

Give a try if you have the coins and looking for a change in midfield. By the way, he replaced my prime Petit.

Awesome iconic midfielder who is really balanced card. I use him with shadow card as an rcm in 4312 formation but what I love about this card is, that he is capable to be in many different roles. He´s longshots are disgustingly good. He´s passing and dribbling is flawless. Beast in defensively.

There was a review below where someone was complaining about injury prone trait but that is definitely not a thing in ultimate team.

He is better than most icons and worth the coins easily.

Controversial but... I personally think Giroud does not deserve the title of the sexiest man in football; I believe Marchisio should usurp Giroud. Just google image search Marchisio. Stunning blue eyes pierce through your soul that can make Neymar dive from contact; Beautiful locks of golden-brown hair that contrast his chiseled chin and magnificent facial symmetry. What is not sexy about Marchisio, he is like a human kaleidoscope of infinite attractiveness, a radiator of desire, a Greek God amongst men... and also his FoF card is pretty darn brilliant.

At first I was hesitant to buy this card. The amount of great CM cards at this point of FIFA make it impossible to make up you mind, but having EOAE De Rossi forced me to make up my mind quite quickly. I played the two of them at CDM in a 4312 that included Christmas Ander Herrera and it was a nightmare. My whole midfield just attacked, leaving no-one behind to defend and I got pretty fed up with Marchisio, but being a fan of his normal gold card (which a lot of people dislike apparently) I decided to keep him in my rebuilding (this was about 4-5 games in). After a rebuild which changed my formation in a 4231, I decided to put Marchisio at CAM which UNLEASHED the Italian Stallion. Marchisio as of now currently has 10 goals and 12 assists in 17 games for my club. That is absolutely amazing to me, especially with the style of play I utilise.

Pace: Marchisio is able to turn on the JETS. There were many instances in which he was able to catch up to players like Sterling and Salah and defend. Honestly this stat does not really matter in a player with Marchisio's role, but when need be, his pace can be utilised to devastate defenses with his surprising acceleration.

Shooting: Uhhhhhhhhhh.... that is probably the reaction of all the players I've faced with this Marchisio. INSANE shooting... and I really mean that. If there is an opening, this guy does not miss. The stats really do not lie, ball don't lie. Quite a good finisher when you put him at CAM and he gets to the right places.

Passing: The ol' reliable... this card can pass like a damn heat-seeking missile. At CAM I was able to amass 12 assists due to his ability... TOTS Aguero definitely loves this card like I do since he's being fed like Americans during Thanksgiving.

Dribbling: Even during my worst times with this card one thing was for certain... this card DRIBBLES. Oh yeah baby, this card has amazing dribbling capabilities. Paired with his 4* skills and weak foot this card is hard to dispossess. Marchisio dribbles with such ease that it will lead you to the goal even when you don't mean it. As a CAM, CM or CDM this card has it all in playability and confidence.

Defending: Great well rounded defending that is reliable when it needs to be. Marchisio is able to take the ball away from several players easily, and his defensive positioning allows him to cut passing lanes very well which could lead to an attack. As a CDM, paired with his pace, this card can play like a Kante. As a CM he has the defending for easy ball-winning and passing steals. As a CAM, Marchisio TEARS defenses apart so well. A great poacher when used in an attacking position.

Physical: With 91 stamina Marchisio is able to last the entire game easily, but the main downfall about his physical is his overall physicality. Marchisio is definitely not a juggernaut of the midfield, he's more of a slippery, sneaky snake that can bite unexpectedly due to his 90 aggression (those that play Napoli's Allan know what I'm talking about). Marchisio is not very good with headers but who cares when he can assist corners better anyway.

Overall, a great player of unlimited value. Very versatile with great offensive and defensive capabilities. Definitely worth it at his price point, and a robbery if bought at a lower one. Also he's very beautiful #giroudisnolongersexy

So i got my hands on the pink Mooy and after using him and realising how broken the card was, I decided to sell TOTS Pjanic to get this card. Why do i say it is unfair? These cards are totally broken and for those of us who invested in TOTS cards its just not fair. If i were to compare him with Pjanic, the difference is so vast that i cant put it into words. This guy is everywhere, he's intercepting, tackling, launching counter attacks alongside TOTS nainggolan. If you have these two in ur midfield, ur opponent is pretty much done for. In the 18 games that i've played him, he's scored 9 goals, assisted (he takes my corners) 15 and frankly i cant remember the no of tackles that he has made. Let's put it this way: i was struggling badly in DIV 3, I buy this guy and i am now in Div 1. He's an absolute game changer. Bought him for 170k. No looking back for me. i havent faced him yet, but i'll quit as soon as i see him in the line up.

Bought this guy cause of the amazing stats, I had Pjanic TOTS which I loved but this guy was faster and slightly bigger built so I thought he was gonna be the magician midfielder of my team.

And he was! But...

If you look at his traits it says he is injury prone, and that fuc*** me. I played 3 games of which two of them he got injured. Hence why He's got the stats of a Matthaus prime but you might not play whole games with him at his best... Sad. Although maybe I was unlucky and impatient, I use to have his normal card in a calcio squad and he played great, i dont remember the injuries that much.
