no buffon no buffet.

Yes lads. Im here today to talk about a player that i have in my squad. When you use buffon you feel like you have one of the best goalies in goal.... but you still dont feel safe. I have confirmed over month of testing that he has sope on his hands. imagine this. 90th minute. the score is 2-2 and it looks set to go to extra time, that bellend you play against launches the sloppyest sausage you have ever seen from the midfield line. By some miracle the ball passes through all your players and goes against buffon. the whole arena goes silent and buffon gets down on his knees to just stop it. then out of nowhere the butter from yesterdays breakfast is still on the gloves, and he manages make that ball just go through his legs and into the goal. you think that a 89 rated keeper only would have one bad side. but wait, there is more. Longshots. when the opponent shoots you better pray that he misses the goal. Because if the shot gets on goal buffon cant reach it. its like having a kindergardener in a 20 by 20 foot goal. no matter how bad that shot is it is still going to go in. but at the end of the day he is a decent keeper.

Decent but inconsistent

Regarding this is the last year that we will see Buffon in fifa (Unless he gets an Icon card in the coming fifas), he has been an decent GK in which sometimes make me love him as he can make fantastic saves and sometimes make me hate him by not saving low driven shots. I packed him untradeable so i fit him in with Chiellini. I use many different chem styles but the most effective one was the one which i started off with when i packed him and that is basic. If you take buffon out when in an one on one situation, its and 90% chance in which he will save it, but you have to make sure you do not take him out too early because the player could try and chip him (but more likely he would save it).

Buffon has got to be the worst higher rated goalkeeper I have ever owned. I previously played with Mandanda, Ruffier, Donarumma and Asenjo and I got to say he’s worst than all of them (except maybe Donarumma). I had high hopes for him looking at his stats and saved up weeks on end to afford to buy him. When I finally did, just after 3 games I sold him off and revert back to Asenjo! Can’t save low driven shot, and most frustrating of all, can’t save finesse attempt outside the box from some unknown bronze player. Not worth buying at all!!

Found him in a gold prime pack, very disappointing.

For how much you pay him, I think you could easily go with the normal version of Donnarumma and spend the remaining coins in other players of your team.

He seems to not be saving really easy balls and even slow shots from outside of the box

One of the best

Buffon is one of the best keepers i have used this year, he can catch the ball perfectly and makes some amazing saves. He can sometimes lack a little on the one-on-ones and low driven shots (but which keeper doesn't) His handling is the best i have ever used this year as he can catch balls when most keepers would have turned it into a corner or a rebound for the opposition to score. He's simply amazing in that aspect

He will save every medium range shot and most long shots

His Price can be a bit high for people to spend on goalkeepers

His Kicking can lack a bit, but if you're good at aiming you will have no trouble with it
