Player Review
97 - TOTY
First of all, I will start by saying that I was playing De Gea on 4 chem, and I know I can get Ramos and play him on 7 chem, I am just saving up for him.
Now that's out of the way, let's get into the review.
Honestly, I never saw the point in spending 800k on a keeper. It was only when I packed him I thought I'd give him a go and when I did, I never looked back.
My go to this year was Courtois, his only downfall was long shots, but other than that, pretty solid.
In steps De Gea. Playing him on 4 chem, he is still miles better than Courtois.
His reflexes are a sight to behold. In and around the box they are godly, and that is only enhanced by his 75 speed. Bring him out and he usually gets to the ball faster than most strikers, or puts together some ridiculous acrobatic save that you know is making the opponent seethe with rage.
His kicking as well is impeccable, he is so good at spraying the ball around that I could only imagine how good he would be at spray washing a car.
His only downfall is the easy saves. Sometimes, you watch a header that is an easy save sometimes find the back of the net but this is a very rare occurrence but frustrating none the less.
I used him mostly in Champs, I am a Gold 1 level of Player so take this review as you will or with a pinch of salt.
Either way, if you have the coins buy this guy. Who doesn't want to try a 99 in-game player at some point in FIFA?
I tried Prime Yashin near the start of the game and it is disrespectful to even compare the two, they are two worlds apart.
Sit a solid CB paring in front of him and you have a defence with better security than Area 51.

Pricey
Easy saves are sometimes the hardest for him
Pretty sure some games EA deploy the good old handicap on this card
