Rodrygo 2.0 (more like 3.0)

Prior to completing this SBC I had no experience with Rodrygo in game. All I heard from friend was that he was actually very solid.

Given that he would fit my team perfectly, I decided to do him with my untradeables (almost entirely), given the alternatives in SBC was Son and Leao, this seemed a no brainer.

In game I played him as a RST in a 41212 and I have to say, he is VERY good. Especially for a formation such as mine. The new Playstyle+ allows him to receive driven ground passes with ease and close to the foot, it's genuinely very useful.

He did lack in the clinical department at times, but his off the ball movement and attacking AI was superb. Letting me just play and wait for his move at times.

I would think he'd be a waste playing wide, CAM can be useful, but as a ST with 2 STs is where he'll shine most.

Definitely suggest you do this, especially if your team is heading in that direction aswell.
