IMO maldini has some great pace and physicality because of his body type, but lacks a few playstyles and his animations are sometimes quite buggy and he doesnt get the ball when that happens. However rio is consistently robust and a beast because of anticipate+, and after using both I can quite confidently say that Rio is better

What is this card??!! I just played a game of WL and this gold salah didn't seem to be a problem when I first saw him, but then he proceeded to bend my Rio and maldini over like toddlers!!! He just glitched through all my fkn players and just dove into every tackle with 99 strength and aggression,,, what the actual shit is this card in game???

PLAYER REVIEW: Pros: Crazy Shooting Great Sprint Speed Glitchy Animations Crazy Body Type Jumping and Headers 5* SM Cons: Acceleration Turning (Balance) Expensive (Slightly Overpriced) In-Game: Used him up top in a 4321 paired with Kolo Muani Evo and Base Eusebio. He gets into amazing positions and makes crazy runs, but he sometimes gets muscled off the ball at the start of these runs by larger defenders like Blanc and VVD. His acceleration is nothing too special, but if you send him onto the end of a through ball, then his sprint speed will charge straight through the defence. Shooting is not something I need to mention. Crazy. His power shots are mental and he scores from tight angles. On corners, his presence is always felt. He always goes for the header and rises way above everyone else in the box and usually sends the ball into the back of the net. His turning and dribbling isn't too horrible, however the low balance is a slight issue. Engine will fix that. However, his glitchy animations are similar to Mbappes so he will just barge through anyway, regardless of dribbling. Overall an amazing card but probably not worth the price tag.

Don't listen to anyone who says this card is good, I thought his technical dribbling play style + would be game changing but it's hardly noticeable, he feels so slow on the ball and moves like he's gallumping through mud, he's tall, he's shit and it's better to get yourself llorente for a similar price. Tried to justify him being good after getting him in the hero pack, he's shit.
