FC 24 Team of The Season Diani Player Review - Cop or Flop

It’s Friday! Which of course means a brand new League for the Team of the Season promo. I think it’s fair to say that the Ligue 1 is the second most anticipated squad for TOTS and of course that’s simply due to everyone aspiring to get their hands on a Blue Kylian Mbappe. That card looks absolutely unreal.

In the SBC section however we have been treated to not one, but two fantastic looking SBCs! A flashback Sissoko item that looks absolutely solid and an SBC I am quite excited to use in a TOTS Diani card!

She certainly isn’t shy when it comes to getting promo cards. We have seen Kadidiatou Diani earn both a Thunderstruck and a TOTY Honourable Mentions item so far in the EAFC cycle as well as a TOTW item as well. But wow, what a card this TOTS item looks!

Finally getting herself 3 playstyles to join the meta criteria of cards. Absolutely juiced out pace and nice shooting to go with it. I think it may be early to say but this card may quite possibly be in a lot of people’s squads if not too expensive. This is a +2 on the TOTY item but the standout here is the additional technical+ playstyle because I think combined with Whipped Pass and Trivela, this makes for a perfect winger.

Diani slots straight into the right wing position ready to utilise those whipped passes straight to Drogba. Between the two I feel they will run riot on defenders and score some really nice goals. It is important however to note that Diani can play in the Striker position, to which I was considering, but with Trivela and Whipped pass, I feel she will be better utilised on the side.

Chemstyle has to be Hawk here. Absolutely max out the Pace and Shooting and you just won’t be disappointed. I would have suggested a Hunter but I feel a little boost to the Physicals can’t hurt either.

5 Segments in total to complete and at this current time the cost of this SBC is estimated at around 440k to complete. Honestly not a bad price whatsoever for the calibre of card you are getting here. I feel that this card on the market would have been a hell of a lot more so I can get behind this one. The previous TOTY item at the time of release was roughly 600k so for me this is great value.

How did she perform in-game?

+ Pace was absolutely unreal on this card, she feels like one of the fastest players in the game.

+ Shooting was absolutely clinical. She found the net without a single hiccup and scored goal after goal for the team. Especially with those trivelas.

+ Dribbling was by far my favourite thing about this card. Using the Technical dribbling mixed in with the speed that she can move felt impossible to be beaten on the ball.

+ Passing was also done really well. Again mixed in with the speed and agility on the ball, she was capable of making slick, tight passes and when given the space can get those crosses and long passes exactly on the mark to assist some goals.

+ Physical wise she held her own really well in fighting off defenders. Aggression was really low so it felt like she didn’t press players as much as I would have liked but also despite low interceptions, she picked up a fair few passes from the opposition and ran with it.

+ Positionally was absolutely sound as well. Was always in the right place at the right time to make some magic happen in the closing parts of the pitch.

Diani - Cop or Flop?

No beating around the bush with this one. Go and complete this SBC now. You will not be disappointed. I really feel like this may be one of the best value for money wingers in the game at current. You look at the likes of the TOTS Dembele that is in packs right now that most of the player base will not be able to afford. An 8m+ card compared to this? I think for 440k this card is an absolute steal and you should get to completing ASAP!
