FC 24 D1 Arkema Team of The Season Predictions

I actually think this could be one of the best TOTS sides we will see with usable players practically everywhere. PSG and Lyon dominate as you would expect but with names like Bacha, Karchaoui, Geyoro and Katoto what more could you ask for?

Kinga Szemik - GK - 73 > 91 OVR

This position should be a one-horse race with Szemik recording some unbelievable statistics throughout the season. With 102 saves to her name, she has made the most saves of anyone this season by quite some distance. What is special about this is her performances have helped Reims to the third-best defensive record in the division and currently sit up in fifth as a result. Szemik can also boast the most clean sheets in the division with nine.

Sakina Karchaoui - LB - 86 > 95 OVR

Onto one of the most popular female options in the game with Karchaoui. The LB has been a popular option with great stats and playstyles on her cards so far. We could take that up a notch with her TOTS card seeing as there will be a minimum of two play style plus’s. Karchaoui is nailed on with two goals, six assists and only fifteen goals conceded.

Wendie Renard - CB - 88 > 95 OVR

The three defenders selected were the easiest I will ever have to do with all three selecting themselves. Renard is the second who has also received a TOTY earlier in the year. The commanding central defender has always been a threat due to her stature and this season was no different. Helping towards the best defence in the division while also chipping in with five goals and an assist.

Selma Bacha - LB - 86 > 95 OVR

Talking of popular players here is another one. Unfortunately, both will be at LB meaning if you want both Bacha and Karchaoui in your side you will have to play one in a more advanced role. Bacha is also a certainty for this squad after providing seven assists from LB while Lyon have conceded just eleven goals this season.

Clara Mateo - RM - 84 > 93 OVR

One of the only players likely to make it outside of the big two is Mateo. The French midfielder has impressed down the right-hand side for Paris and while she has played a couple at striker the majority have been down the right. With eight goals and ten assists to her name there is no denying her from a position in this side despite competition from some big names.

Grace Geyoro - CM - 86 > 95 OVR

Moving onto another great option now with Geyoro. The French midfielder will likely be another popular option for sides with a 95-rated card on the table. Geyoro has dominated in the middle of the park contributing with goals regularly. With eleven to her name alongside an additional three assists, there is no doubting her spot in this side.

Damaris Berta Egurrola Wienke - CDM - 82 > 91 OVR

There are a significant number of attacking talents in this division but there also needs to be some recognition for those doing the other side of the game. Wienke has been solid throughout sitting in front of the Lyon backline and doing the dirty work for them. She sits 8th in the tackle rankings and 9th in overall passes with an impressive 82% accuracy to go alongside that. Wienke is a very important part of this Lyon dominance.

Kadidiatou Diani - RW - 89 > 95 OVR

Diani is one of the bigger names in the division but with Mateo playing out of her skin this season her position in the side was under scrutiny. With the moment spots being available I do think that the way EA have implemented them so far suggests that the big names and usable cards will be preferred regardless of their “moment”. Diani would be a big player to miss out thus I expect her to receive one.

Marie Katoto - ST - 88 > 95 OVR

While Katoto could easily make the cut normally I feel with the limited spots available it is a difficult ask. It looks as though there will be three-moment inclusions however and Katoto will get it one way or another. The PSG forward has been overshadowed by strike partner Chawinga but with eleven goals and six assists it’s still been a respectable campaign.

Ada Hegerberg - ST - 89 > 95 OVR

Now that the numerous issues EA had with Hegerberg are resolved there will be no issues when it comes to her TOTS inclusion. The Norwegian striker has recorded twelve goals for league leaders Lyon making her the second highest goalscorer in the division. You could easily argue against Hegerberg but I can't justify leaving her out.

Tabitha Chawinga - ST - 81 > 94 OVR

Chawinga has taken the division by storm with the PSG forward finding the back of the net on eighteen occasions after only 21 matches being played. She has been snubbed on numerous occasions when it comes to TOTW but Chawinga is the first name on the teamsheet when it comes to her TOTS. Chawinga also leads the assist charts with ten making it 28 contributions, crazy stats.

Substitutes

Sara Dabritz - CM - 84 > 93 OVR

I feel the other two moment cards pick themselves but this one could go multiple directions. Realistically I don’t feel PSG get all three so Lyon and Paris are the other two options. In the end, I narrowed it down to either Dabritz or Horan, both of whom play in the middle of the park for Lyon. Dabritz offers a different route with her nationality thus my punt goes with her,
