He's a bit A-neuer-ing

Man. I was so excited to use this guy when I bought him. Picked him up for 205k, and I couldn't wait to use him.

First game I played, he was amazing. Couldn't be beaten. After then it just went down hill.

Let me get one thing straight, this man is good. Very good. However, and its a big however, is 205k worth it for a keeper, right now in the current state of Fifa 18? No.

He *is* the best keeper on the game, but all keepers are relatively easily beaten on Fifa 18. Unless you're up against people constantly making rash shots or longshots, he's not worth dishing out on. Unless of course you're loaded, in which case why are you bothering with reviews, go get him.

My point is essentially - only buy him if you've completed the rest of your team. Don't buy him instead of getting, idk, Boateng say. JB would benefit you more.

He's on a whole other level

Neuer is a fantastic keeper. He makes some saves that very simply can't be done by others. His positioning is superb and it feels like he comes out of net on his own to stop cut backs and grounded crosses and the fact that he is 6'4 is also just spectacular

Meh

Got him when I went to a BPL/Bundesliga hybrid and played over 100 games with him now. I was expecting great things from the highest rated rare gold keeper in the game but found him underwhelming overall. Maybe 1 in 10 games he has a blinder but for the rest of the time you may as well have a scarecrow in goal. Honestly.
