85 - IF
He is a solid CB, but there are just too many better options even amongst Brazilian CBs. He felt slow and made his side of defense vulnerable to speedy forwards. I am one of those who actually don't think too much of pace for CBs, but due to his H/M work rate, this issue was more apparent than other non-pacy CBs. And Naldo really can NOT jump. He did fine against shorter forwards, but conceded some ridiculous headers to tall forwards & CAMs. If you are looking for a non-Boateng CB to pair up with Fahrmann. I'd recommend Ginter.
- Height - makes him feel stronger than his strength stat would suggest.
- Standing tackle - it felt pretty easy to stand tackle against any forward
- No ridiculous pass in the lower third - his passing is reliable.
- Too slow - this was more problematic than it should be due to his H/M work rate. He moved up more than I wanted him to.
- H/M work rate - if his work rate was L/H, my perception of this card would have been different.
- Jumping - most frustrating aspect of this card. He can't jump for s.h.i.t.
- Stamina - often felt the need to sub him out after 75 mins.
