Nathan Aké - 81 - IF
5.0
Absolute beast CDM
By zte94, 29-01-2018

Nathan Ake is a straight up upgrade from Bakayoko. I start out in a 5-2-2-1 and switch to a 4-2-3-1 in game. He plays along side Icon Petit and together I feel very secure in defense. Perhaps his best attribute are his interceptions. He wins headers, he's strong, and makes fantastic tackles. He's also very agile, which is hard to find in a CB/CDM and it makes tackling strikers and CAM's so much easier. His work rates don't effect him at all if you put 'Stay back while attacking' instructions on him. He's simply the best CDM in the premier league, if not the game not counting TOTY Kante or Icons. On top of all that he has pace. His passing isn't amazing but he hardly puts a foot wrong when passing.

Meet SIF Aké, elite CB for BPL teams

While building a BPL team sooner or later you are going to struggle with the choice of CB, either you get daft, slow giants for aerial supremacy and sheer strenght or agile, small ones with high pace but lower phys and that get dominated by stronger STs.Meet SIF Aké, the best of both worlds. With no chem he starts with 78 dribbling stats (2nd is IF Azpi with 76), 86 reactions and 80 compo...

NATHAN AKE SIF

I really enjoyed his first IF card, and when I saw that he was in the TOTW21 I was excited to try him out. I was just lucky to pack him as an untradeable last night. I use the SHADOW chem style on all of my defenders to give them pace and defending boost.

Ake Review

When I first saw that he was in the TOTW I was excited to try him out as I really enjoyed his regular card, and boy did he not disappoint. He was amazing he felt fast and agile for a center back, great defending and good strength and had the ability to hold off both fast and strong strikers. The only thing about the card that was a bit frustrating was his medium/medium work rates, I found that he would run up the pitch a bi...
