Not good right now. Maybe with his next IF.

I used Saul's NIF card on my fitness squad for a while, it was not bad for the team. This card is not up to the price or rating. I used Paulinho on my squad at the cm position since the beginning, that guy has been wonderful. Compared to him, paying 58k more for PTG Saul, does not seem justifiable at the moment. May be his next IF will make him better. To add, I used him with a shadow. His 85 rated MOM card was out of this world in Fifa 17.

Pace

His pace is not bad as Defensive mid with Shadow on him. Didn't have trouble chasing down players.

Shooting

I don't want to talk about it. He just can't shoot. Just leave it at that.

Passing

His passing wasn't bad in game. Nothing too good, nothing too bad.

Dribbling

He turns like a tank, He can't dribble.

Defending

This and decent passing stats were only thing that I wanted from him. He defends decently. His tackles are fine. There are some players in Fifa 18 that you can say that he is everywhere, but he is not one of them. He doesn't have that "Fifa 17 Kante" or "Bakayoko" factor.

Physicality

His strength is 79 and stamina is 83. I assumed they must be decent. But wasn't. He can't keep up with strong players, and after 70 minutes, he is all drained.

Overall

In real life, he is an excellent big game player. I think he will get more IFs. This card could an investment at the moment and nothing else justifies paying that much.

SAUL amazing

so saul is a great player he is very complete CM and I played him in a 41212 (2) as RCM and he was great his shooting is very good even though his stat is only 83. i feel like if you had him untrade he is a great addition to a squad but for his money you could buy better CMs .

I bought ptg saul to link my sbc koke and he looked very good card. Not the best, but does his job as cm could. He's left-footed which helps so much when building laliga squads.
