Schmeichel Review

Well first off I only played a little more than 12 games with out boy Kasper here. Why? Because thats all I could stomach. From now on, I would rather put a rancid fish between the sticks. It would probably stop more. His card stats look great. They were all lies. He made a few decent reflex saves but I wouldve expected the same saves from any decent keeper and his kicking/throwing was actually really good. Other than that it was all booboo. He was complete Hot trash. He conceded shots that were floated directly at him time and time again. Constantly in poor positions. Pretty much any half power long shot that was on frame went in while Schmeichel sat there and played tiddlywinks with himself. Idk, maybe he enjoys disappointing people. Whatever you do, do not purchase him unless what you want is to give up goals and cry yourself to sleep at night in utter disgust of the fate Kasper led you to.

Worth giving a shot

Packed him in my squad battle reward and decided to not sell him imediately. For me he was and is very good , with the basic chem style. He is very fast , dives in a great way , has very nice reflexes. Also his handling seems to be pretty impresive. I don't know what to say about longshots , because i didn't face too many , but i faced , he dealt properly with them.

I read our collegue opinion from underneath , but i suggest you give a try and if he doesn't work for you with the basic chem style , try him with a different chem style. As an example , for me NIF Perin is the most overpowered keeper in seria a with the basic chem style and for other guys he was bad.

Might as well not be there

I used him for 5 games in fut champs which included me getting 2 wins & 3 losses due to him not catching the ball once in any 5 matches. He conceded 8 goals in total, at least 5 were easily saveable which my previous keeper, begovic, would easily have saved and he's quite honestly the worst keeper ive used this year, including bronze keepers. Long shots near the corner went in without fair because his diving was so lacklustre that even if his did save it he'd parry it every time. Honestly save your money and get ederson or begovic.

Solid keeper

I tried, Cech, Ederson (regular card and if), Courtouis and Lloris; non of them reached my expectations, so I went for De Gea thinking that 235K was a bit too much for a Keeper. Within 15 matches I decided to give Schmeichel IF a try and he did not disappointed me. He does have his moments but overall he is a solid keepers. Great for long shots and one on one situations.

After 13 matches with him I have sold De Gea and will invest those coins elsewhere.

Give it a try; for 30lK he might surprise you as he did for me!
