87 - OTW
After 29 Ones to watch untradeable SBC i packed this guy 4 times. I only got a 83+ 1 time (Diego Costa). I tried to get Aubameyang or my favourite BPL Player Alexis Sanchez but EA doesnt matter. So i said yesterday to myself i will do this sbc one more time... and i received Batshuayi. So enough from my private story.
I played only 3 games with his 85 card but wow. Who is Aubameyang? I play this guy on 8 chem in front of futmas Nainggolan and next to futmas Zlatan in 4-3-1-2.
The first point is pace. I dont need fast players it isnt my game style. But this guy is fast. He feels faster then 84 Pace and he can run through the defense.
His Shooting is unbelivable. Its amazing. 92 Finishing 92 Shot Power and 84 Longshots its brilliant. Doesnt matter if he shoots with the left or right foot. With his 4* weak foot he can score from anywhere in and near the box and nothing can stop this guy. With 88 composure he is able to score even when he will tackled by Boateng or Bailly. The only thing which could stop the goal when he shoots is the bar or the post. His shooting remember me to my favourite forward Ibrahimovic. Wow i love it.
Passing is very important for my forwards and this guy isnt a beast in passing. 75 Short passing and 74 Vision is okay to crate some chances with Ibrahimovic but his 42 Long passing is annoying. Dont try to give your forward a long pass. It will fail. Well crossing i cant rate cause i dont use it with him. And i think it doesnt care if he has 99 or 20 crossing as forward.
His dribbling is very good. I dont use any skillmoves only R2L2 and so I dont care if he has 3* Skills. His agility is very good. He cant move like Mertens or Alejandro Gomez but its enough to turn around the defender or use R2L2 dribbling. His Balance is 85 but i dont feel it. He goes to the ground very fast if you dont use L2 at the right moment. His reactions and ball controll is good.
His Stamina value of 71 seems a bit low but with his workrates he can play 120 minutes. His Strength is good but it dont feels like 89. He can save the ball and win a duel with the defender but it didnt feel like Lukaku or Ibrahimovic.
His workrates seems to be very bad. But cause i dont run only through the defence and Zlatan has the same workrates i dont have a problem with that. Cause his Med/Low i know every time where he is and can pass the ball to him. So its a question how you play and what you need.
I can recommend this guy. He is a great forward and i love this guy next to Zlatan. You should try him in a Belgium / Bundesliga or a hybrid squad. He can help you if you arent one of those players who only run through the defense with Sane Salah or Jesus and try to beat the goalkeeper with R1 Shooting from anywhere on the pitch.
This guy let me forget Aubameyang cause he feels better and is so much better in Finishing. Im a bit sad i need to pay 320k for this guy in the SBC but thats my fault cause i know EA never give you something great if you dont pay for this game but i think he will collect some more Informs maybe the next in 3 weeks when Dortmund plays against Augsburg.

So here's the story. I decided to change my team this past week because it's FIFA and although EA have tried to sap all the fun out of the game, I thought this might be the best time to try some new cards etc. I was one of those using the OP standard players in Nainggolan, Vidal, Boateng, Alaba etc. and had been using them for a good month or 2 before this card came out. I took the risk of selling all of those really just to try this card out. Before I used Rui Costa as my ST and I'll say this now, BATSHUAYI IS INCREDIBLE.
He really is MY perfect striker, I use my striker as a target man who can I can bounce the ball off with my wingers, who can hold the ball up so I can get my midfield forward, who can get in behind if I need him to and most importantly someone who can finish. This card worked out SO much better than I could've imagined, with a hunter, he's fast enough to get down the wings against full backs, he's great at passing in and out of defenders, his runs are very good and his finishing is exceptional. I even started crossing because I wanted to test his heading out and he did not disappoint.
- Finishing, his low driven shots from inside the box (I didn't really shoot from outside) are unstoppable
- Heading, he wins virtually every header including front post corners
- Passing, unless you're going to play a midfielder at striker, I haven't used anyone as good as this up front
- Strength, will hold off any challenge from any defender
- Price, for how good he is and how much a comparable player (see Lukaku) would be, 100k is nothing
- Difficult to link, I used a strong link with Reus but only other strong link options that are useable are IF/OTW Yarmolenko and IF/PTG Origi
- Stamina, for me this wasn't an issue as he plays up front and I'm not looking for him to be a runner so he stays on the field for the full 90/120 but some people may find this to be a problem
Batshuayi is an absolute monster. i got his OTW card in an untradeable sbc pack and was annoyed that i was unable to sell him but boy am i glad of that now. i am yet to use him as an 87 but his 86 card was unreal. this guy will find the back of the net from 35 yards or closer all you have to do is get 4 bars of power and its a goal, if your on the left hand side of the box i suggest finesse as he occasionally will blast it wide. he may not have 90+ pace but with his god like strength all you need to do is hold LT/L1 and he will shrug off any defenders. he is rarely caught offside and always finds the right run. i don't cross the ball much so don't really know what he is like in the air. one problem i have noticed is that after 80 mins he becomes very sluggish , this does not however decrease his ability to bang in goals.

I bought him as a second striker in pair with R9 96.
After playing DK tournament (all opponents were good trying to win FUT Swap Negredo) i noticed that for me he is better than R9. He scored ALL!!! chances in this 4 games (5 goals and 2 assists, again. opponents were strong enough.)
For about 100k you get complete forward, he has enough acceleration and sprint speed (especially with Hunter), finishing, heading, long shots are great, passing is ok for ST, strength is phenomenal.
Some players have noticed problems with stamina, maybe after 80 minute is better to change him.
Also just look at his dribbling stats, for player 6.0 height and 94 strength...
I'm just impressed with this player!!! No doubt, buy him if you are looking for the ST in Bundesliga squad or Belgium squad or you have enough icons to work with chemistry.

So I decided to test out the beast called Michy Batshuayi, because I wanted my beloved Reus back in the team. I decided to go for the OTW, who was at the same price like his TIF at the time.
I decided to start in a 433 with the linked team, and switching up the formation to 41212 (2) - for most games - later testing 4231 with him as a lone striker.
I'm going to make it a short story: As the titles indicates, he does not live up to the stats the card has.
After playing strikers like Del Piero, Mbappe, Ciro (SIF, beast!), Reus, Suarez he feels like a joke. After Catalyst the first couple of games I put him on Hawk, and it didnt change much. Most of the game he gets infront of the goalkeeper he misplaces his shots. I used the trainer assistant or w/e it is called (the one that shows where you aim) and shots that were aimed at the far post just didnt hit. Easy sitters (for Reus and ADP) were shot at the keeper or completly missed. I really tried to make him work - but I can't. At least for the majority of games. He wins a ton of headers with 99 jumping and 99 heading acc. but they won't have much power and therefor easy catches for the goalkeeper.
I tried to use him as a target forward, he did play that position quite good, shielding the ball of the defense, but his passes were ... bad ... so most passes he recieved just went back to ADP setting up a 1-2 or a longshot.
Occasionally, he had a game or two where he scored like a madman, getting 2,3 or 4 goals under his belt, getting assists ... but those were a rare occurance.
For me a is a complete disaster, who isnt able to live up to his card's stats and therefore not worth the roughly 100k he is at right now.
PS: If anyone of you got tips to make him work, I'd appreciate those.
