Gomez 84 rated is one of the best players ive ever played with.
He is just incredible .
To score 3, 4 , 5 goals in a single match for him is a piece of cake.
Alongside with Mertens 86 they are unstoppable.
Despite of his low strength rated only 48 he is just that good.
Yes, maybe if he meets strong defenders he is having trouble to get through but he is so fast that he runs around :)
I bought him couple months ago , and i am still using him .
Heading - Despite his heading accuracy is rated only ! 36 i have scored a lot goals with his head.
This guy was a godsend for me last year. Now they have finally moved him to the centre where he belongs. He is gonna be godly on the turn now. Plus his and Mertens' positioning are so high, they get on the end of every low cross
Quick Dribbling, Great Long Range Shooting, Great Positioning
Weak in one on one's,
Papu Gomez was my first player for more than 5k (cost me about 23k on PC) and I must say - so far the best player I have EVER used in FIFA. Last year, my best player was Martial, in FIFA 18 it's definitely Gomez. I'm using him in 433(4) as a CAM and he plays like a god. Didn't play well as a ST but as a CAM - 84 goals in 56 games + about 30 assists..What can I say? Can't wait to try out his inform if he gets one. Definitely player worth to buy.
Finishing in penalty area
Very fast and smooth on ball
This card feels similar to some of Papu Gómez's IF cards last year. To state the obvious, he is extremely fast with the ball. His ball control is fantastic and it's very easy to make quick turns and movements with Papu that can really cause problems for defenders, especially this year. His passing stats are very good, and his high crossing is particularly helpful if you want to play him alongside a target man who can win headers. He is very small and very weak, so shielding with Papu is not effective and he is bullied off the ball very easily. His stamina (78) isn't ideal, but unless you sprint a lot with him, he should be fine later on in games, even if you have to go to extra time. His finishing is inconsistent, even with his strong foot, but it's by no means bad.
Excellent Dribbling and Ball Control
I bought this guy for about 5k coins for my
cheap Calcio A team. I paired him
with 2nd IF icardi (great card
btw), and this was the worst
waste of coins of all time.
Where do I start. His pace is great, but it is negated
by the fact that he has a measly 48 strength.
He does have great dribbling, though you can't really
beat anyone in the open field because of the strength.
He has a relativly low 78 finishing for a striker, and his composure,
at 84, feels a lot lower. This makes it pretty tough to score with this guy.
And dont even get me started on the fact that he is 5'8 and can't win a header for his life.
His passing is decent, but you would need to utilize this by playing him at cam. And that just wouldn't work.
He would be much better at winger, but I don't suggest buying his out of position card.
Honestly, just buy Andrea Belloti. H e is a much better cheap option.
