Just... meh. He go a big upgrade as his basic card is 77 rated and the IF is 81. 7-6 upgrades in his stats but still... i felt him just as... as i don't know. Really. It's hard to describe.
He usually got between 8.0 and 9.5 ratings match after match, so he was working with the team it's just that what he did was only OK. Other wingers could do the same. Anyway, let's see what was the pros and cons!
He is an 81 rated IF and cheap. I bought him for 11k now goes around 14-15k (xbox one). I could discard him and thats it, not much of a loss but i won't sell him nor discard, as in a future SBC he will be a good card to be used. So it's not a bad investment.
Now about the real positives. He is a workhorse. Yes, he has medium-medium work rate but it felt more like high-high. He was going up and down on the side, defending, building up plays, doing one-two passes. It's just... there was no end product no real assists and goals. But more on that later.
The other positive thing is his dribbling (91). He has 3 star skills thats... not that good for a winger. But because he is good at dribbling, you can run down and do quick turns and ball rolls to trick your opponent and with a good chem style he is pretty quick. I used him with basic, his acceleration is 92 so with high dribbling it was not a problem sprinting down the wing.
Now about his passing. Short passing is good (87), anything else... 50-50 chance. Yeah... do you see now why he is just... meh?
Shooting. 87 finishing? 92 shot power? 88 positioning? (basic chem style). He is good yeah? Nope. 72 composure and 3 star weak foot. He bottled so much... i got really frustrated. Yes it may be my fault but still, even if i suck with 16 match only 2 goals and 4 assists? Come on, i am not THAT bad!:)
Passing except short passing. Bad crosses, bad long passes... my 81 Bruma was much better with 73 passing then him. Meh.
Stamina. I don't know why, he always got so tired around the 70th minute mark. Also his strength was good but that not enough to make this card, especially with 60 aggression so his strength doesn't amount too much.
Skill moves and weak foot. 3-3 stars. Bad. It's baaad. For a winger at least imo. I couldn't cut in and make space for myself against the fullbacks even if his dribbling is good, a good player will be able to cut your way into the box and leave you outside of the box where you have 50-50 chance to cross it in... and with 3 star weak foot you need to pray to get it right. Meh...
It's a good investment for future SBC, thats the only reason why i keep him. It would be so much better to use him in the middle as a cam. Then this card would be awesome. But for the wing? Not worth it. Bad weak foot, bad skill moves, bad crossing and long passing, good shooting stats but bad composure so it feels like if he has 75 finishing... Don't buy it imo, only if you want to invest into an IF to use later in the year for an SBC.
Hope this review helped!
- Short Passing
- Skill moves/Weak foot
- Long Passing
Feal small IG, but strong enough to keep the ball under pressure or against big defenders. Feels really agile, but the fact that he has 3 star skill moves makes him a bit limited in 2 or 3 vs 1 situtation. However in front of the goal he was really good, he didn't scored a lot because of Reus but he is one hell of a finisher in front of the goal. His long shot is normal nothing good nothing bad but the biggest problem is his stamina ... I'm not a counter attacking player but a 60' he started to be really tired . And also, not good in the air, headers not powerfull at all and misses them .
- Skill moves
Played a lot of games with this card. Some games he was exceptional and others he just couldn't score. He's a good card but too inconsistent imo. he scores 25 yarders on 6 chem but then when it gets pulled back to the penalty spot he just seems to scuff the shot.
Good finisher (when he's in the game)
For 16k he is good value for money. Discard him and lose only 6k
3 star 3 star????????????
Needs to have better stamina
Few chem styles work well.
