I saw there's no reviews on this monster, so I thought I'd make one!
This guy is a beast, scored me so many goals in a cheap fitness La Liga team, both in division rivals and FUT Champions. I'm a Gold 2/1 players (could do Elite 3 without fitness teams I guess), not the greatest but decent and this guy is really easy to play with. He's quite tall, decent pace, quite strong, and has great finishing. I used him in many formations (lone striker in 4-3-2-1, 4-2-3-1) but many in two strikers formation (most often the 4-4-2 which is quite broken, or at least used to be). Chemstyles used are Hunter, and the classic Sniper/Finisher/Deadeye which look more useful than just a raw boost of pace. You might go for Marksman too.
Pace [83] : Not the best acceleration but pretty decent considering his height. His sprint speed is great though, think of a weaker but way more agile Lukaku, so he feels quite fast. As it's sometimes hard to outpace people even with the likes of Lucas and so, I find this blend of strength and pace pretty good.
Shooting [81] : Keystats here are Positioning [89], Finishing [85] and Shot Power [83]. He's clinical. He might not get involved in your passing game a lot but you'll always find him at the end of your actions in the perfect position. Long shot stat is bad, but the Shot Power makes it up, and he scored a few bangers. Volleys are great too, but that might be just because of how the game is made, so I won't talk about it. His weak foot is ok, nothing great, nothing terrible. Curved Time Finishing are ok, overpowered for every player so kind of irrelevant.
Passing [66] : Bad stats all over the place right. His short passing [71] is pretty bad. He's tall and strong-ish so he can play the Pivot game, but he's missing a lot of simple passes. However, his long passing [61], especially his long through balls, are actually pretty decent. He's no Xavi but he can pull some decent passes. He might be lacking in a 2 strikers formation because he's going to struggle playing 1-2s and so on though.
Dribbling [81] : 3 stars is obviously a bad point, but he has ok dribbling, all round, decent agility for his height, ball control is good. can't really do much with 3 stars and no acceleration though.
Physical [79] : 88 jumping (+ 79 Heading accuracy) with 185cm height is a pretty deadly combo on this Fifa.
If pressing a lot is your game, I reckon he'd fit nicely too, he works tirelessly, and since he 'only' has 80 ish pace, you usually don't burn off his 81 stamina that easily by making deep runs with him, and he'll last all game long. 75 Strength feels more like 80ish. Agression is about right, he wins back balls quite often.
Anyway, he's really good, and is more or less at Discard Price, so no reason to not use him, I personally bought him again to play in a fun Portuguese/Liga Nos Fitness and I don't regret it!
I used him in my LA LIGA santander team, and what a beast! HE scored in every single game he played in, as well as assisting loads more. I literally had no bad thing about him. I scored 9 goals in 120 minutes with him. Really recommend him, the model player for any laliga/hybrid.
AMAZING FINESSE SHOTS: his shooting is the best in the game. I have had really good players like modric in shooting and he competes for the top spot.
GREAT PASSING: When I played with him, his vision was insane. He gave out so many through balls and his crosses are very good. For some reason he links amazingly with UCL Malcom from Barcelona. (I had Deadeye chem style on him)
PACE: His pace is decent. It can be better with a chem style.
HE also lead to many goals through taking the ball right through the oppositions' area
IF Andre Silva does not get nearly enough credit for being the budget target man of FUT19 so far. I've tried to replace him on my La Liga hybrid squad multiple times (IF Aspas, Rodrigo, IF Stuani, Scream Diego Costa, UCL Benzema) and I find myself buying him back every time! PGP stats don't lie, this guy has a 0.61 goals per game ratio for a reason.
For me, I like a target man striker. Someone who can dribble reasonably without losing the ball, can backdown a CB to make a key pass or do quick turn and shoot with timed finesse. Also someone who can win headers from crosses and corners reliably. In FUT18, for me that was SIF Michy Batshuayi, who had incredible stats last year. He got nerfed significantly this year, but thank goodness for Andre.
For me he is averaging 1 goal per game. And at only 15k coins, until I save enough for IF Suarez (500k) he is my man. I flank him with OTW Promes (also excellent ) and FUTSWAP Adnan Januzaj (not so great, but good at protecting the ball on the wing). My CM are UCR Isco, OTW Goretzka, and IF Thomas Partey (who is also great value CDM). Make sure to use Deadeye Chem, as that boosts his shooting to 99 in the key categories (positioning, finishing, shot power 93) and ups his short passing to 78 (needed for key passes in the box). Otherwise he can be frustrating when you need to make a pass.
If you don't believe me, do this search in Futbin: Find a player with 80+ in these categories: positioning, finishing, shot power, agility, stamina, pace, aggression, jumping. The list is Ruud Gullit, Alexis Sanchez, Mario Mandzuckic, Richarlison, Belotti, and Andre Silva. There is a reason all of these guys have north of 0.60 goals per game and Gullit is a staple in pro teams.
Silva has one of the most unique skillset of a target man striker:
6'1" Height + 88 Jumping + 79 Heading Accuracy: good enough to win headers from crosses, corner kicks, and even if you want to boot the ball deep from your keeper and pass back to your CMs
80+ Positioning, Finishing, and Shot Power (with Deadeye it becomes a stellar 99, 99, 93)
78 Curve (with Deadeye) important for timed finesse
High Atk WR + Aggression 80 (important because you want a guy who will go after the ball)
82 Agility + 76 balance (critical for turn and shoot)
83 Pace, just enough speed to keep up with wingers and give CBs some trouble
81 Stamina, best of all he will last you all game
Only 15k coins
3* WF is a little weak, but he can score with left foot.
3* Skills. You are not skilling with him. You are getting him the ball and slamming it in the back of the net
Low Passing Stat (you need to use Chem style to improve his passing, otherwise he cannot make key pass in the box to enable wingers or CMs to score). His long pass is a joke
