The cheap (and slightly gimped) Rijkaard

Did this card cheap after packing a dup UT ozil in rewards. He was great played on basic chem as an LDM in a 4231 beside Allan at RDM. Tactics were set to balanced both offense and defense. Instructions were stay back, cut passing lanes, cover centre, and conservative interceptions, all to make him hold position and conserve his stamina, and it worked pretty well. He had the same stamina as Allan every time the game paused and didn't need to be subbed off. Lost the same amount of fitness as Allan too (5). Overall, I found him very similar to my Prime Rijkaard from fut18, but limited with less pace and stamina. Play him as a holding mid in a conservative system and he'll be your rock, and do a better job in that particular role than EL Parolo imo. Great value for coins too. I'd probably put a backbone or guardian on him.

Excellent distribution from deep. Played the regista role in my team well complimenting Eriksen at CAM and providing pivot for my attack to reset. 4* WF is lovely.
Ball control, composure, and reactions make him great at mopping up loose balls and winning 50/50s
Great at interceptions and breaking up play, courtesy of that 88 interception stat
Bossed people off the ball like fut18 Prime Rijkaard with his 94 strength and 90 standing tackle
Won headers in the midfield

Pace. He's slow but you know that. Park him in front of your defensive line and let him do his thing. Only switch to him when you need to make a tackle.
Dribbling. Don't progress the ball forward with him, pass it, shield it, use drag-backs, just don't try and move more than a metre or two. Best not sprint
Stamina. He has to be played in a conservative holding role and a more passive system to get the best out of him. That doesn't mean he doesn't do anything. He's your midfield rock. Set and forget
