I have struggled with defending. I have used Valencia, Walker, Bellerin and Aurier. (all prem, so sue me.) I haven't got on with any of them. Until i decided to go for a plain defensive RB and found this monster. I run an anchor on him.
Work Rate - This is what drew me to this card. The H defensive M Attacking work rates. Honestly it is what i need to help me defend. I can attack well enough that i don't need my fullbacks.
Positioning - possibly the same as work rate. He sits back and covers all the time. he may very occasionally drift forward but he is always back when you need him.
Strength + Jumping - He will win headers left right and center. If he wins the ball of you that ball is his. He will shield it until he died.
Heading - When he wins the headers they will go to who you want them to go to.
Tacking - Sliding or Standing he is immense. He will win that ball.
Dribbling - his dribbling is passable if he doesn't have to beat people. running 5 yards to play a pass is fine. Outside of this don't bother
Passing - again short passing between players is fine. You want to pass into midfield before you play to forwards to counter however,
Shooting - he never has but i assume it sucks.
Shooting - he can head the ball no worries. it fell to him in the box once though. useless.
