Played with him this first WL (4-4-2, CM) and have noticed following stuff about this Player:
he feels like a complete Central Midfielder, offensive than defensive. He have a decent shotpower with long shots and a really nice DEF and PHY Stats.
As i needed a player in a free spot to shoot he was there and when a defender lost his position and the enemy sqad wanted to counter, he was at the defenders spot to defend.
Nice for chemestry to link with godin or others (Like in my team). Only Juve Player that is cm and that good.
Not much to say about this player, just a reccomandation:
Dont change him to cdm or cam (LET HIM CM) or you will ruin the gamplay of this guy.
Have seen many guys put him as cdm and then compare him with kante... i think that if you put kante as cm he will not be as good like bentancur
Complete CM wounderful M/M working rate
99 short passing / 87 long passing
87 Shot Power / 86 Long Shots (reccomend to do better with chem style so he becomes brutal)
Just wow. This is my first review on here but once I used him and saw all the negative comments I needed everyone to know how good he actually is. This guy is one of the best investments Ive made. I play him in a CDM alongside kante and together they are one of the most formidable midfields in the game including icons. I dont have enough for any good icons but I would imagine this guy is as close to vieira as you can get.
Pace: I play with an anchor so it helps a little bit. It takes him a couple steps to get to stride but once he gets there he can keep up and catch just about anyone.
Shooting: His longshots are VERY overpowered. He has scored 5 goals in 20 WL games and for a CDM on stay back while attacking thats pretty good if you ask me
Passing: Hes not much of a crosser or Free kick taker so dont expect that out of him. His short and long range passing is on point though. He can put the ball on a dime and probably get some nice assists for you.
Dribbling: Hes no hazard or neymar but he can use his nice 4 star skills to get out of some tight situations
Defending: the main stat for me. oh man what to say. Let me start off by saying Ive used casemiro, Fabinho, Fernandinho, naingollan, SBC guilavogui, IF goretzka, and just about any good gold CDM you can come up with trying to find the right fit. I found it now. He is the only one out of everyone except maybe goretzka that can win every tackle AND intercept any ball. Hes 6'2" so his long legs make him that much better too. He puts Fabinho to shame.
Physical: Hes no vieira in this category as far as strength but he push anyone off apart from the big guys like Flashback Ibra or Ron. He wins almost every header though and is aggressive which I love.
Overall, If you are on the fence with him look no further. He is worth every penny.
