To start things off, I bought this man for my Portuguese team for around 510k and then I packed him in the untradeable guaranteed sbc which was even better. This is the first review I am writing on fifa 19 and I feel that this review is needed. He is a truly broken card and I believe he is very worth it for the price point of around 450-500k.
Now onto the review. I used him in a 4-1-2-1-2 at CAM with a hawk chem style and I think thats the best position for him. His pace is rapid, with 95 acceleration he feels insanely quick off the ball as well as on the ball. His shooting is just broken, and with the hawk he almost is maxed out in all shooting stats. I did not feel his 3* wf to be a problem due to his 94 finishing and 91 composure, where he literally buried every shot he took inside the box. Now his passing is God tier not much to say there. Literally every pass is crisp and accurate and he has the best passing out of any player I have used this year. Dribbling for me is his best pro. His 4* skills paired with 94 agility, 92 balance, 96 ball control, and 98 dribbling speaks for itself and since he has a smaller body type at 5"8 he feels like messi on the ball. His defending wasn't needed at cam but he has some decent defensive stats if you were to play him at CM. Physicality wise, his stamina is perfect at 99 and even though he has low strength at 68, his 83 aggression allows him to win the ball back after he losses it most of the time. He even scored a few headers for me which I found suprising.
All in all, broken card and try to fit him in your team if possible. My favorite card on the game right now.
So I got TOTS Bernardo Silva in one of the two player picks from the Gold 2 FUT CHAMPS rewards. I am a divison 2/3 and Gold 2/3 player. My starting 11 is dominated by EPL-players, I play 4-2-3-1 with Bernardo in the CAM-role. I used IF Eriksen 91 in that role and quickly replaced him with this guy. I was very happy with Eriksen 91, one of the best and most solid players i´ve used in FUT 19. But I had seen some talk about Bernardo on youtube and wanted to try him out. I can definitely say that hes the most fun player i*ve used so far this FIFA!
Magician is the word that represent him the best. I use Marksman chemstyle on him. I have played 26 games with him in FUT Champs and he scored 22 goals. I can easily say his is the most enjoyable and fun player i`ve used in FUT so far. If u like dribbling, skills and embarrassing strong tall defenders
Passing - His passing is great, especially his through balls and crosses. Just look at the stats.
Pace - U dont have to boost his pace. The only thing u need, to run away from defenders, is his unreal acceleration. His pace is good.
DRIBBLING - Oh my god! This is his best trait. He has to be one of the best, if not the best dribbler on the game. I have used Neymar and Messi, and Bernardos dribbling is better! He doesnt need 5*dribbling. It looks like the game has some special animations for this guy when he dribbles. He feels crazy smooth on the ball, the ball is glued to his feet. His turns, agility and reactions are insanely quick. No defender can catch the ball from him, He glides past defenders with step overs, body feints elasticos etc, like they are nothing. They either get embarrassed or they concede a freekick/penalty. Use skills with this player and I guarantee u will get past the defenders 9/10 times. I`ve scored so many solo-goals with this guy its ridiculous! Keep in mind that Marksman will boost his already insane dribbling stats even more.
Shooting - His shooting is pretty good. Especially his positioning. He makes smart and good runs and is always at the right place. His finishing is better than his long shots. His long shots are ok but not the best. Messi and Eriksen scores more often than Bernardo from outside the box. He is surprisingly good at freekicks. Scored some freekick goals with him.
Weak foot - I put his weak foot as one of the pros. The 3-star weak foot is a lie! His weak foot is decent and I scored many goals with it.
Stamina - 99 Stamina stamina says it all. He can run at tired defenders all day long.
Height - But thats obvious. Not the best player in the air.
Strength - Not the strongest player out there, can easily be pushed off the ball. But his great balance (92) makes him a fighter. Cristiano Ronaldo for instance fell more often to the ground because of his low balance stats.
Long shots - I wish he could have been a bit more clinical with his long shots outside the box.
I packed him in the PL tots pack and was excited to use him. Used him in this WK league and was a complete game changer. He scored an average of a goal or 2 a game it was unbelievable I would recommend to anyone who needs a cam or winger and also he feels just like messi.
Now this card is Amazing I use him at Cam in 4-1-2-1-2 with a hawk. He's quick with 94 pace and his dribbling is amazing . His shooting is just Brilliant 9/10 shots in the box just go in, and with the hawk he is pretty much max in all shooting stats. His 3* WF is not problem at all due to his 94 finishing and 91 composure. Now his passing is Perfect not much else to say really it's just Perfect. Literally every pass accurate and he definitely has the best passing out of all the players I've used this year. His defending isn't needed at cam but he has some good defensive stats for a Cam. Physicality wise, his stamina is perfect at 99 and even though he has low strength, his aggression allows him to win the ball back most of the time. Overall, broken card and PUT him in your team if possible. My favorite Cam on the game And ive used 91 Eriksen and 93 KDB and he's Topped them in every except strength maybe. Great Value for money as well

Okay so free publicity there for nandos. But seriously folks, TOTS Bernardo Silva is the best player in my squad thats filled with TOTS Hazard , moments Best, 94 POTM Reus, He is blessesd with springy acceleration, most people would say its messi like. If you play in the centre of the park like me you will absolutely love his dribbling. He is a CDM magnet, they will want to tear him up a new hole. Then he will evade 3-4 of them and open up a pass for my other attacker. Thats a typical move from Bernardo. He does sooo well under pressure and create chances so easily like no other player before. He is better than messi cos of his med/high workrates, he will get in front and past defenders with his springy boots and boy, he belts the hell out of the ball with hawk chemistry (99 shot power) on his left foot. I keep record of all his assist and goals highlights cos they are all so magical. I love this card to death, more than Nandos Chicken...

I got him in my fut champs rewards, as did everyone else apparently.I don't know what EA are doing handing this guy out like that because he is a MONSTER.
Pace: He feels very very quick and has noticeable acceleration.
Dribbling: Best part about this card it is soooooo responsive so quick and so smooth, it's on par some of the best dribblers like messi, hazard and neymar.
Shooting: Got a chunky shooting upgrade and thank god because it is so good. Finesse long shots OP!
Passing: Again incredible. He finds the pass even when the striker is being marked somehow i don't know how he does it.
Physicals: Don't look it ruins it. Yes he is weak, yes he cant win headers and yes he gets pushed off the ball. But 9 times out of 10 you're past the defender before they cam touch him. You may be looking at this card and comparing it with Messi, but what's the problem with Messi? His stamina. BAM Bernardo has 99 stamina. Bernardo better than Messi confirmed.
This is my first review on futbin for a player! Bernardo Silva has probably been my favorite player not named Eden Hazard or Fernando Torres since I saw he was a wonderkid on Football Manager many years ago. I was annoyed when he moved to Manchester City two years ago, knowing he would become a huge part of City's success, and so he has. Been looking forward to his TOTS all year, so much I sold a first owner Ronaldo to afford him and Prime Moments Deco.
The squad linked switches to a 4-1-2-1-2, with Bernardo playing at CAM behind Torres and Van Persie.
Pace - He's rapid, the 95 acceleration is felt when he gets the ball. Those first few touches with his rapid acceleration can be helpful in the final third if you need to break away enough to either shoot or make the final pass. The 85 sprint speed feels faster, probably due to the acceleration.
Shooting - His shooting stats looked good, but I didn't expect him to be scoring as easily as he does. The 99 attack positioning is probably one of the best stats on the card and probably gets glanced over. He's actually scored a few headers for me, and many times when the ball would be out-wide, he seemed to find himself in almost a perfect position to have an open shot on goal. His left foot is very reliable, whether you're aiming a shot far post or trying to sneak a bullet on the goalkeeper's near post.
Passing - I play a narrow 4-1-2-1-2, so 1-2 passes are a huge part of my game, and he does an amazing job at those quick and short passes. With long passes, he's very capable of sending a great LB+Y through ball to either Torres or Van Persie to give them a 1v1 shot on goal. He's also very reliable on corners, able to swing the ball in to any of the air threats on my team.
Defending - Despite the efforts of having my CAM on "stay forward," they always seem to end up on the outskirts or in my box, close enough to either press the opponent or even block shots. Bernardo's scrappy enough in defense to be able to pick the ball from a player and begin a counter attack. He's far from an alternative option or even a lite version of a player like Kante, but you're not buying him for his defensive abilities did you?
Physical - 99 stamina means he's got plenty in the the tank even at the end of 90 minutes and could perfectly go in extra time if needed. I think the rest of the stats are irrelevant, just because you don't expect Bernardo to be winning headers, and his strength is well compensated by his balance.
There's two small things that I'm not sure can be considered cons, just because they really just be on me.
Work rates - He has a high attacking work rate, and as I pointed out in the shooting section, he always seems to end up in a perfect position to either score or make the final pass before a shot. Despite this, sometimes after taking the ball, he would only charge ahead if I cued a run using LB. This wasn't every time, and this just might be something on my tactics, so it's not like it's a deal breaker or anything.
Sprint bursts - This is an interesting one too that's probably just me. Last year, I was very lucky and passed TOTS Messi in the La Liga guaranteed TOTS SBC. One thing that used to get me with that card sometimes the first touch dribble was just randomly way faster than I anticipated. It wasn't even a bad touch, just that the card was so fast that the first touch was heavier than you'd expect. Bernardo will occasionally do this, but this happens maybe every other game.
