When Icardi became an SBC I completed him because I had 1.6 million and he looked like value for money. I have since loved him so much that I have decided to write my second player review ever on him. As you can see if you look at my team, I have three strikers and, although I sub Crespo off at half time, it is still very hard to get goals. You can see this with Icardi's strike partner Quagliarella who, although he is an amazing card and a ruthless striker, has only scored 8 goals in 15 games. I have played 10 games with Icardi and all of them coming in division three rivals. In these games he has scored about 70% of my total goals and has scored three hat tricks. I do not normally score many goals and all of my strikers with over 50 games have got a goal to game ratio of about 0.6. You can see my in game team here 'https://www.futbin.com//19/squad/8563879'.
- Finishing - This is his best stat and it is what makes him that bit better than other strikers. He can score a whole range of goals: long shots; low drivens; finesses and will always score them nine times out of ten. He is an absolute monster in front of goal.
- Heading - Although he is only 5"'11 his 99 jumping and 99 heading accuracy well and truly make up for this. Crossing is quite broken in this fifa and Icardi abuses this problem
- Value for money - At the time of writing he is 135K which is incredible for a player of his ability. Not only this but you get a prime gold players, a mega pack and a rare electrum players pack which amounts to 110K worth of packs, although you will probably only get about 30K back. If for some reason you were not satisfied with this card his raw value as an SBC fodder is about 110K because of his 94 rating
I am trying not to be one of those people who just say 'There is nothing wrong with him', so have decided to write 2 very honest cons
- Passing - If you don't like a passing game then 73 passing is more than enough. I however do quite like to pass and, although strikers don't need much passing and 73 passing is more than most other attackers, it can be quite annoying when he misplaces a few passes.
- Uniqueness - There are a lot of other Serie A strikers like him who are just as good stats wise and are only 50K more expensive. TOTS Piatek, Correa and Ilisic all spring to mind and I'm sure they'll do very well and are tradeable which is a large plus.
I completed this SBC for 70k,because I wanted to try him out.I even packed tots fabian,so I made 100k profit on him.I play him at 10 chem with engine. I play him striker in a 4222 alongside 93 immobile and I think Ciro is better.But this card is also really good.His pace is quite average.He is pretty fast,but a lot of defenders can catch him.His dribbling is nothing special,but his finishing is absolutely awesome.All his shots will be a goal or a save by the keeper,but he never misses the target.His heading is also superb.He is able,with that 99 jumping and 99 heading accuracy,to outjump a lot of defenders,like Ramos,Varane or Koulibaly,and put the ball wherever he wants.In conclusion,this card is great for the price,but not the best option as a Serie A striker.I think all the TOTS strikers (except Piatek) and 93 immobile are above him
