The best GK of Fifa 18 without any question and because EA decided to make him a bit more realistic in FIFA 19 people started to scream that he is useless. He doesn't catch crosses or corners they say and they complain about it, He doesn't do that IRL either so why do you complain about it? The card is spot on. His reflexes are unreal. His ability to stop long shots is there. He is catching most of the shots and he is the worst GK in the game during corners. That's all you need to know. For 176k you are buying indeed the best EPL GK but not the best GK of the game. This year Neuer and Courtois are on the same level as DDG, they cost less and in some situations their performance is better.
Ending this review, i would like to point out that he is a great keeper and apart from corners and crosses where his rating drops from 91 to 61 during the rest of the game he does feel like a 91 rated GK with some insane abilities.

The problem lies with the player. He doesn't have the ability / trait to come for crosses.
The best goalkeeper (in my opinion) is David de Gea, and this is coming from a Liverpool fan. I bought him as a replacement for Future Stars Lafont, after he had cost me vital wins in FUT Champions. He has always saved my team in last-gasp situations and feels like an extra line of defence, behind my already secure one. When he needs to make a save, he will 99 times out of 100 make it and will always try and get it out for a throw rather than a corner. His reflexes are out of this world, and has saved close in shots from many players such as: CR7, Flashback Ibra and many more.In short, he is amazing

What can I say for this keeper he is unstoppable he literally catches almost everything and the good this about this card is the 94 reflexes and his 90 diving.If you are looking for spanish keepers he is the best you can find or you are a big fan of de gea like me and you want him on your team.i have used flashback casillas for 300 matches and I can they were both very good but the problem of casillas is that he is short although he is amazing like de gea.I am using de gea on 10 chem and he is amazing. Although he eats goals from corners.

David De Gea is one of the best keepers in the game this year and i can say this with confidence as i have used many keepers this year and he simply gives me confidence he makes all the routine saves with ease and often saves shots that most other keepers would have let in. I have used many keepers this year and can say he is defiantly up there IF Alison is close but DDG's save withe feat trait means he is better in 1 v 1 situations also DDG is taller giving him the advantage for saving long shot. EoE Cech is not even close to him (proberbly the worst keeper i've used this year) neuer is the better sweeper keeper and courtois often dosn't save long shots
he is also good value for money as he keeps you in games you should be lossing
Overall he is a great keeper and plays like he dose in real life and i belive he is the best keeper IRL

I don't know why, but everyone says this card is amazing, he stops everything, worth the coins etc etc. But for me he's so inconsistent for me, one-on-ones, corners, out-side the box shots, he doesn't save anything for me. The ball bounches off him all the time leading to a rebound goal. I could be winning comfortably - and the other player could take a random shot and score. Last year he was amazing for me, but this year I'm going to have to find a different keeper. I've had him for over 60 games now, and it must be at least 50+games hes conceded at least one goal a game in. Try him out but, keep the expectations low.

I’m so glad I didn’t spend 170k on this guy (I was lucky enough to pack him) because he is so bad. I thought everything was great when I packed the highest rated keeper in the game… but not this time. De Gea is as inconsistent in FIFA, as in real life. No matter what kinda shot it is, you can NEVER trust him. And everything that flies with over 50 km/h (30 mp/h) goes straight past him, and in the net. Which happens quite often now that people slowly start to get better at timed finishing. And now you’re maybe thinking, that if De Gea can’t save these shots, then who can? The answer is Lloris and Ter Stegen, those two guys save everything for me. I obviously had to sell De Gea, because I couldn’t afford conceding that many goals, and now I’ve got Hugo Lloris. Thank god I did that.
But literally, don’t waste 170k on this guy, he won’t save 1 v 1, power shots, and especially not anything inside the box. On top of that, he punches away too many easy balls, which any other keeper would have caught instead.

I consider myself a decent fifaplayer. I have a good record, finish in gold 2 every weekend, and have played for many years. My team is worth around 1.2 mil, and when i finally had enough coins to buy De Gea, I didn't hesitate to buy him. Usually I concede a maximum of two to three goals, but in my two first games with him between the sticks I conceded 14 goals. 14 GOALS. In a game where my opponent had 17 shots on target De Gea made 4 easy saves, and that was it.
I had looked forward to using him, but unfortunately he is not worth the coins.
