I'm a Div 3, Gold 1 player, and I was waiting on a "cheap," beast, Icon ST available to do as an SBC. As soon as I saw Owen, I knew I had to do it. I have played 33 matches (3 Div 3, 30 WL, Gold 1 finish) so far with him, and he has 41 goals, 11 assists (23 wins out of 33 games).
I have 2 big negatives, one being that his passing sucks very bad. I play him as a lone ST and in a 2 ST formation, and it sometimes causes me to lose the ball, even from a short pass. Also, I am an above average skiller and his 3 SM is not appreciated. With his 88 dribbling, the card is still fun, but feels limited. A smaller negative is his heading. He has double 84's, but you will barely win any headers as he is only 5'8. I'm only stating this because he has high jumping/heading stats and it may deceive people.
Now, talking about the positives, his 4 WF sometimes feels like 5. While his 67 PHY is a low number, especially for a 5'8 player, I don't notice it that much because "stronger," taller players get bodied as well. It is not a big issue for this card. His high dribbling makes it easier to get pass opponents without doing fancy skills. His shooting of course, is very good. And if you were looking for a an Icon or just a ST that can last all game, then Owen will work. He can last all game (Stamina is 80).
Only reason I am giving this card 4 stars is because of his horrible passing. Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars, as it is an easy player to use.

So, i will start off by saying that i am a really bad fifa player. I stop playing fut champs each week when i reach gold 3. I get rank 1 division 4 each week also. I started the weekend off with baby crespo but then noticed that the michael owen sbc was only 490k so i HAD to do him. I play in the 442 and i play him at right striker next to falcaos moments card and i have to say, it is the best strike partnership i have used on this fifa.
- Firstly, his pace is absolutely his stand out stat. This card has raw speed. He can out pace the players like van dijk any day of the week. He feels like musa in fifa 17 and 18.
- Dribbling. His dribbling is out of this world. The way he keeps the ball so close to his feet is unreal. He can also knock the ball away from himself and run onto it if you need him to do so.
- Shooting. his one on ones are absolutely amazing. Every time he is through on goal he scores. His longshots are also better than the stat suggests.
- Price. This card is so cheap to complete and is 100percent worth it. I have used all sorts of strikers: ibrahimovic, trezeguet, crespo and even the cheap strikers like vardy and lacazette however, michael owen has outshone them and is great value for money.
- If i have to choose a con for this player, it has to be his passing(which is not even that bad). He occasionally does a bad pass but every player makes bad passes on fifa 19.
