He does have a real face in-game. He has been used in 90,561 games with a GPG (goals per game) of 0.259.
The best chemistry style for him is BASIC.

His real-life stats are currently 4 goals and 1 assists in 23 matches in domestic competition. He also received 3 yellow cards and 0 red cards.

Ok, when you look at his stats, he doesn't look amazing, - 80 pace for an attacking player is on the lower side, and with 74 shooting, he's not going to be your star striker, but overall, with a Hunter Chemistry style, (I know they aren't cheap, but they are essential for Welbeck), he goes up to 90 pace and 84 shooting, which is where, with 75 physical as well, he starts to look more like a Mertens kind of player. I bought him for my team as I am an Arsenal fan, and because I had little coins. Now I have an 82 rated squad, with Lacazette, Leno, Depay, Dembele (Ousmane) and Danny Welbeck is still in my squad! So if you are in a similar position to what I was in, I strongly advise you to get him!
Pace- I felt that without a hunter card he was quick, but he wasn't pulling away from the opposition like some players can do (Gelson Martins for example, check out my review on him), but he was more than capable of running past a players like Jorginho and Fred. But the hunter card I added made all the difference. He now can run around most players, and what you will notice, if you play Division Rivals, Welbeck was put under a lot of pressure, so then you can pass to another player (mine was Rashford) who then had time to run and score!
Dribbling- I mean as his stats would suggest, his dribbling was substantial, and there was nothing special you really noticed. I feel like in real life, he often trips up and falls over himself, which is reflected in his 62 balance, but he will keep hold of the ball for you, as you would expect.
Shooting- Again, with a hunter card this is dramatically improved, and he rarely misses, becoming a cheap Rashford if you put him as a LF. However, without the hunter card, he would only finish simple shots, tap ins, and the odd header. But if you play him in his preferred position, Left Wing, he will not be used for shooting much, and will be more of a passer, which I will come onto in a minute
Defending- Normal defending for a Left Wing, and obviously he is not used to defend, but he did make a couple of nice challenges.
Passing- Ok, Passing is brilliant. I was considering putting an Artist Chemistry Style on him, but his passing is so good anyway that it is unnecessary! His crossing feels like Hazards at times, and his short passing is sublime. No complaints about passing!
Physical- Welbeck is strong enough to keep the ball under pressure, so with the improved pace, he feels a little like Lukaku (I have done too many comparisons haven't I!), but with 75 physical, and the same number in strength and aggression, that is not a surprise!
Value for money- You Cannot argue for 850! It is an amazing price for an underrated player!
Thankyou, and please post comments, I will be happy to answer them.
