Quite possibly my favorite silver card in the game. An absolute rock at the back. As far as silvers go, he must be one of the best all around CBs.
Pace: I think 72 pace is more than adequate for a CB, assuming they position themselves well, which Parker does superbly. He seems to be in the right spot all the time, so its rare that he ever even has to run, but when he does, he's normally quick enough to make a recovery run.
Shooting: He sits very deep, so never gets into shooting position. Based on his stats, even if he was in the position to shoot he's probably not the one you would want to be shooting, unless it's on his head.
Passing: Very good passer for a CB, whether silver/gold/special/whatever. Passes better than some of the gold CBs I regularly use. He is passing quite a bit because his CB partner is pretty bad on the ball, but Parker is great at getting the ball into the midfield or out wide to wingers/fullbacks.
Dribbling: Definitely not the best on the ball, as his stats would suggest. Probably best to just take a touch and get a pass or clearance off so he doesn't touch the ball and go to the opposition. His reactions at times leave a bit to be desired, with attackers beating him to loose balls after the goalkeeper parries.
Defending: In the beginning of the game, I was so impressed by his defending, I played him with gold CBs because he was too good to replace. He doesn't intercept the ball that often, but he makes nearly every tackle he attempts. with a sentinel on him, he has 84 stand tackling, pretty good for a silver, but seemingly plays much better (for instance, I find him to be a better pure tackler than Boateng to name an example, although Boateng is definitely the better all around defender). Excellent in the air as well. In my most recent game, he competed with Zlatan and won 6/7 of the headers against him, often clearing the ball well out of the box.
Physical: His physicality is already pretty decent, but when you put a sentinel on him, it makes him elite, with 92 jumping and 95 strength in particular. He simply does not lose a physical batter no matter who he is going up against. He easily pushes people off the ball to make simple tackles and regularly wins the ball in the air, jumping the highest, not to mention he is 6'2".
Overall, I don't think there is a better silver CB on the game, and he's better than quite a few gold cards as well. If you need a solid silver CB, he is the man. Especially nice if you are able to take advantage of his perfect link to NYRB Adams' silver card as well who is an excellent CDM, and another one of my favorite silvers.
