Firstly, my reasons for purchasing Insigne were not because I thought he would be an outstanding player in Fifa 19, in fact I assumed he would be rather average given his height, strength and overall shooting stats. It was more because I knew his stock would rise significantly in the first week of full release. However, I must say I am genuinely impressed by his usability and performance in FUT 19. I used the Hawk Chem Style (because it was all I had available) and played Insigne in the LW role.
CUSTOM TACTICS
If you haven’t worked out already, custom tactics are pivotal in Fifa 19. The most effective I have found for 4-3-3 (4) are wide attack 3rd bar on crosses and leave the corners and freekicks as standard. For instructions on the LW/RW ensure your players “Stay Forward” & “Cut Inside” (I think this is what made Insigne so amazing for me.
PACE
You are most likely looking at Insigne for his pace down the left side. This stat does not disappoint. Comparitivly, Insigne is up in the Category of Mbappe and Hazard when it comes to packs. The runs he makes combined with the 93 Ball Control and 99 Acceleration and 91 Sprint Speed (with Hawk) means no one is getting near him once he breezes past the RB. This for me was obviously his standout card stat.

SHOOTING
For me, this is where I was most surprised. First game with Insigne I scored 5 goals with him and I’d say 3 of them were absolute peaches. After really struggling with Guedes (who I would never recommend), Insigne was a breath of fresh air. We all know by now that Finesse Shots are unbelievable this year and with the Finesse Shot trait, 87 Curve and 84 Long Shots they seem to just go in, time and time again, even if you miss the timed finishing. His Finishing is spot on for a LW and 93 Positioning means he crops up in the for the tap ins often.

PASSING
For me passing is a dead rubber – either a player can pass or not. He makes the obvious passes and 50% of the time he makes the more complicated long through balls. To be honest he is on the receiving end of passes bursting through on goal.

DRIBBLING
He reminds me of Hazard here so much. With Balance, Agility Dribbling and Dribbling all 90+ and 99 acceleration, he turns from players and finds the gaps with ease. 4* skills mean 1 vs 1’s are easy (all you really need is the ball roll). 91 doesn’t really do him justice here as it feels pretty much perfect.

DEFENDING
A redundant stat. He lurches on to heavy touches due to pace and can be muscled off the ball at times but usually he Balance and Pace prevents this happening too much.

PHYSICAL
As you’d expect. Let’s not lie 5’4” and 45 Strength – he is WEAK. But again, Pace and Dribbling seem to counter that ever so slightly. He isn’t going to dart in the box to win any headers but if that is your intention, then you’re looking at the wrong card. Stamina at 75 means he will go the 90 mins but beyond that, you may struggle.

Conclusion
Without a doubt, the best card I have used for under 50k. Really, really surprised me this card and the only comparison I can make to him is Hazard - for a 1/5 of the price, it is an absolute bargain. Honestly, I wouldn't question buying him. Once people clock on to how good this card is, you may see his stock rise. If you are reading this before the full release, then buy him quickly as his IF means he will become expensive due to rarity at the beginning of the game. He has everything you’d need for a LW in an abundance: Pace, Shooting and perfect Dribbling. The goal return of c.2.5 goals a game in 10 games is very nice indeed. You are really getting a bang for your buck here. Also, don’t sleep on Bonaventura as a strong link, he will also surprise.
This little man is the new finesse god in fifa 19, I usually played with in in WL and he had 27 finesse shots and he scored 25 (others hit the post). This little Italian has the dribbling pace shooting positioning and pace and pace what do you want more.
