I got this beast during the very first UCL SBC where you get loan Aubameyang and two untradable UCL cards, and after 132 games with him, I thought it was time to share my opinion. In general, he doesn't fit my fast ball movement and agile attacking play style, but he is great at holding up the play for a secondary striker or CAM, in my case Rodrigo or Isco, to make a late run to catch the defense off guard. Well it's either that or you play him a lobbed cross so he can hit a volley "as sweet as a nut"! Volleying is his biggest strength next to his strength and aggression, he doesn't win many headers so try to position him for crosses to volley the ball on a bike or a 180 turn shot. Lastly, he won't outrun defenders so if you play him a through ball he has to get to the ball early and take a couple steps, or else a defender will get in front of him and tackle the ball away. When he has the ball, make sure the defender is behind him because they won't be able to push him off the ball. If you want a comparison to his base card, sadly I can't help you there, but if you are looking for a solid La Liga striker that isn't as expensive as Suarez or Griezmann, then this card is your best bet.

  • Strength and Aggression- will win every shoulder to shoulder challenge from a defender hands down and run away with the ball.
  • Shooting- Finesse shots are pretty reliable with either foot, but he is hands down the best player I've used when it comes to shooting across the goal from both inside and outside the box, you are better off using him as a right striker.
  • Positioning- Since he has no pace, you have to rely on his positioning, he is great at setting himself up for those overpowered bicycles or top of the box first time volleys or finishes.
  • Weak Foot- He is one of those few players whose 4 star weak actually feels like a 5 star weak foot, and you can comfortably bury any finesse shot with his weaker left foot.
  • Shot Power- The man fires every shot with a degree of lethality, to the point where good keepers like De Gea and Courtois can't get an effective hand or leg on the ball, so it ends up in a goal anyway.
  • Pace- Even with a Hunter chem style he is really slow.
  • Agility- It's near him possible to tell him to turn around with the ball or turn and play a one-two with his partner, so play passes in the direction he is facing.
  • Dribbling- It can be if-y at times, like his ball control isn't the best so the ball will get away from him if he tries to trap the ball, but when he has the ball settled, he doesn't let touches get away from him.
  • Jumping- He will NOT jump for headers, period. Don't expect him to out jump a player at the front post for a header on corners, that's why I've been advising you to position him for bikes and volleys.
