Insane defender

One of the best centerbacks if not the best in the game. I packed him weekend league rewards. First I thought to sell him but why sell him without trying? I put VVD in a squad and the difference was massive. My defending side was very strong using VVD next to Chiellini. Wins a lot a headers and can keep up with most attackers. He wins almost every battle in the air, so you won't get a lot a goals of headers againts you in corner.

-Pace is very good with VVD, I use him with the shadow chem style and it boosts up his pace to 86

-Heading - he will win you most headers, corners against CR7 no problem anymore with VVD

-His passoing was shockingly not that bad, he could give long passes to my attackers and they would do the rest

-Price value for this card it's underrated, VVD is 600K at the moment of writing this, keep in mind that he is a champions leaugue otw, he will upgrade if Liverpool wins the first game against Bayern and then if they win the whole round, so if Liverpool can get to the finals this VVD card will have stats like TOTY card.

There aren't that much cons actually maybe dribbling if you are in that kinda stuff with defenders

THE PERFECT CENTER BACK!!VIRGIL VAN DIJK!

By far the best cb in the game, he wins every Ariel ball. He makes every tackle and has a medium medium work rate and therefore he wont push up too far. He's very strong and that shows on his card with his 92 strength. I mean, where should i start this? This man with shadow is just the best cb ever (i play him in 250k prem squad with potm hazard and lucas in). I had 150k and i were thinking that should i go for vvd or walker, and i went for vvd, and oh boy, this guy is an absolute rock as cb, he's way better than umtiti for example. You don't need any other defenders

Need a wall for your team? This is your guy. When I first saw this card I wasn't sure if he would be a good choice right before TOTS but honestly, him next to my 93 cannavaro and I feel so comfortable in defense. honestly, he is 100% worth the price and will make your team so much better. Just like in real life, he will completely revitalize your defense.
