First of all when I got this card I wasn’t expecting him to run. I just needed a player that could pass the ball around well and at the same time could also defend alright as my other midfielders: David Silva and Fabian(IF) weren’t going to defend. I admit the pace put me off a little but I ignored it and just put a shadow card on him. I’m so happy with this cards defending because whenever there is a counter attack from the opponent Parejo is there to put in a tackle and pass the ball to lead to a brilliant attack. I’ve never actually written a review before but I just had to this time because I don’t think this card deserves all the dislikes it gets obviously just because he’s slow. He’s also very good value as I got him for 75k at the time of writing

He’s an excellent passer

He can dribble the ball well

Good free kicks

Can defend well and occasionally out physical other players

His pace isn’t the best but tolerable

OK... This card might seem disappointing especially the pace. However, that doesn't matter all. He is best played as a CDM staying at the back or a CAM staying forward. Well, I packed him in a 81+ upgrade sbc. Tbh, I was excited to try him as he has great stats apart from pace. But then, in game, I feel his stats are not entirely true.
