A Hobbit wearing the One Ring

Hello there! Welcome to my first FIFA 19 review :).

For one of my starter teams I wanted to put this little man on the wing. To my luck, not long after creating said squad, this IF card was released, prompting my interest. In-game I switch to a 4-3-2-1 formation, with him remaining on the left flank. This is where is reign begins.

A quick glance at his IF shows he is in potential a great asset to any starter team. Speedy gonzalez fast, good dribbling with some proper shooting, passing, and stamina. And all that could be bought for a discard price. I welcomed the deal, and after striking a deal with Sauron himself I put the Ring of Power on his finger, and let him do the rest on the pitch. His performances are pleasing to say the least!

Pace:

One of his many weapons, and the most recognizable, is his pace. This Hobbit is RAPID. Your opponents will chase smoke, and will have trouble to catch up with this speed demon. His sprinting even puts Gimli, a natural spinter, to shame.

Shooting:

Like Legolas, this lad has an accurate shooting ability. Don't expect 35 meter bangers, but inside the box he'll finish his chances. His finesse shot, like the salted pork, is particulary good.

Passing:

His passing is proper, tho it's nothing special. His crosses could use more help via a Chemistry Style. Besides that, he'll deliver his passes without a problem. Like Aragorn, he'll assist plenty should the opportunity arise.

Dribbling:

One of his other outstanding attributes is his dribbling. His agility, together with his small posture, gives him that special, close dribbling animation. A welcome addition to an already tasty card. You'll not see the ball jump off his foot too many times. The ball and his feet, like Frodo and Sam, share a special bond, which is not so easily broken.

Defending:

To no surprise this is the weakest aspect of this little Hobbit. With his speed he might intercept a few balls here and there or take the ball away when the ball control let's a defender down, but that's it. Don't get your hopes too high on this attribute, he ain't the gate of Minas Tirith.

Physical:

Despite his poor strength, this Hobbit is capable of delivering damage during the whole game thanks to his juicy stamina. Like Bilbo and Smeagol, this Hobbit keeps going and going. It's this stat that makes him wearing the One Ring an absolute danger to the opponent's side. He'll keep on bombing the flank time and time again. Even when all seems lost, when the match is about to end, this lad can still activate his turbo mode, find a way, and make one last sprint towards the opponent's goal.

I would suggest putting either Sniper, Artist, Maestro, or Engine on this card if you decide to purchase him. Also, who wouldn't like to have a player with such an excellent smile in their squad?!
