I know this card seems expensive, but wow it is good. It is always risky to pay for a POTM so early, but honestly Reus' informs past 88 rated will be a lot more expensive than this SBC (side-note: I would recommend doing the gold upgrade SBC a lot to get a high rated player, I got Godin and it saved me so much money). He is one of the most fun cards to use. I have him playing CF in a 433(5). His chance creation is solid; it's not his strongest point, but still really good. Theres at least two moments in each game where he makes a run that is just so unique you have to admire the coding that went into it. His shooting is just unbelievable. I'd say he scores once in every 2 shots and the other shot goes out for a corner (which is deadly in this game as well). On that note, his set pieces are crazy. He makes free kicks good – which seems impossible in Fifa. His passing is great and he holds the ball very well. I am going to use him in a two striker formation with Werner, Lewandowski, or Sabitzer (IF), because I think that would suite his playstyle the best.
Overall, they really did a great job of capturing Marco Reus' playstyle in real life and fitting it into Fifa 19. He scores like crazy at striker and I can only imagine he'd be an assist king at CAM. Love the guy, love the card. I would, however, take into consideration that he will likely get a TOTS. If you have a lot of coins, spend them on him because TOTS is so distant from now. If you were saving up a lot, I would just hold off and maybe try his 86 inform or Lewa.
P.S. The second most expensive player in my squad is Witsel, and Reus works brilliantly in Weekend League, no need to worry about surrounding him with expensive players.
Feels like a high-rated Legend
Wins Headers (not always on target)
Pace (better than expected)
Stamina – just putting this here so I have a con, I really didn't notice any bad incidents. Plus even if his stamina depletes he will still function well given his playstyle.
So i use Reus as the Right ST in a 4-4-2 along side 91 Lewa. He didn't steal the headlines as i expected. But i wouldn't have anyone else in his spot. (At least not yet)
Pace - He has good pace. Not lightening fast but still very nice.
Shooting - can shoot from everywhere, left and right are fantastic in and out of the box.
Passing - Passing range is awesome as a second striker. 1-2 play is great and he can switch the play too.
Dribbling - His dribbling is fantastic. Honestly perhaps you could run an engine on this card and it would be better. But i use a Hawk and it is still great.
Heading - He scored a couple of headers for me. Not expected but a nice touch.
Stamina - as an ST not too bad, but as a CAM not good at all.
Strength - a little weak for an ST, but not a massive issue at all i don't think.
Price - worth 350k at the moment. But in 6 months a possible waste.
This Marco Reus card is so insane, you don´t need to surround him arround great players, with a 15K cheap bundes you can win all the games if you have this beast on your team.
In terrms of pace he has great numbers and we can consider him a fast player, with his speed he can offer great chances of run away from the rival defense.
The shoot of this guy is one of the most broken shoot in the whole game, is a monster he can shoot far to the goal, he can define a 1vs1 with finesse he score a lot of goals.
This Reus card have great numbers in passing ability, he is a great passer but for me its better shooter than passer, it will offer you a better performance in terms of scoring goals than terms of making asist.
In terms of dribbling this guy is dope, its a great dribbling he has a great balance, great agility and 4 stars of skills something great for a CAM.
The only bad point of this guy is the 74 in Stamina, that make him be tired arround minutes 70-75 of the games
In conclusion if you have the 350K more of less that he cost, you have to do the sbc to test this guy you wont regret to do it, because he will offer you an astonishing performance!!
4 stars of skills
At the beginning of fifa, I packed Messi. i didnt know what to do with the coins. When Marco Reus first POTM got released i wanted to complete him.
It worked out very well. its the best player in my team!!
great finesse shots (before patched)
allround good shooting
he almost wins every header
he has a little low stamina, I mostly sub him of after 65-70 minutes
I used Reus as a striker in a 41212(2) modifying the attached squad ingame, pairing him with lucas and putting rivaldo cam and fernandinho cdm and he was a beast, finesse shots were like penalties for Reus and although his stamina is low, this didn't seem to effect the way he played and he was still excelent. I ended up doing his SBC for only 150k and for this price he was an absolute steal and i would completely recommend doing him.
Pace- He feels like a 93 pace player and always seems to get away from CBs.
Dribbling- He is so good on the ball and skill moves are so easy to perform.
Shooting- He can shoot perfectly and his finesse shots are insane.
Passing- I sometimes switched him and Rivaldo and he seemed to get a whole bunch of assists.
Height- Sometimes suffered on crosses as he is only 5'11 but this also could've had something to do with pairing him with Lucas at striker and not having a physical presence up front.
Strength- Never won headers and could sometimes be pushed off the ball, not a huge flaw but isn't ideal.
