81 - IF
What. A. Player.
When I saw this card in the TOTW I thought he was going to be around 30k because he links with Alex Telles and has good pace, then when I looked him up on the market, he went for minimum price, I decided to buy him and link him up with Fabinho, Jesus, Alex Sandro and Casillas flashback.
When I looked at his in game stats I was satisfied with his physical stats, but not with his defensive stats, so I put a Shadow on him to give him blistering pace, and great defending.
Having him in your squad feels great, he makes me feel safe when my opponent tries to counter me, he can litteraly keep up with POTM Aubameyang.
He also wins a fair few headers and physical clashes, and with his 89 stamina he will never stop running.
- Pace
- Wins a fair few headers
- Workrates
- Passing and Dribbling
- Agression
- Interceptions
Sometimes when you want to put pressure on your opponent, he's so fast he runs straight past them.
He win a physical clash from someone with 83+ strength
If you want a solid brazilian CB to pair up with Marquinos and/or Futmas Thiago Silva - Eder Militao is DEFINITELY your man.
Don't be fooled by the 81 ovr, with a shadow, anchor, or sentinel he easily feels like a 85-88.
I used him in a 4-3-3 (4), 5-2-2-1 (switched in game for 4-1-2-1-2) where I play Marcelo as CM, and Eder plays as LB, with a shadow chem.
Super quick to get the ball (feels like a full back on steroids), players model moves more like a mid, than a defender.
Exceptional passing for a CB, so no more balls gave to the opposition just after winning it, which was my huge problem before.
Very agile, turns easily 81 agility, and 72 balance, guy is also not easily bullied of the ball.
He stays in his designated position, no crazy interceptions and runs upfront.
He is "silky" on both tackle and slide tackle, in 33 games I got only 1 yellow card, for a tactical foul.
With 89 stamina he is easily a late game champion. No silly mistakes in 80min+, there are probably a handful other CBs in the game with such a stat.
Unfortunately not the best in the air, where he's like a 50/50 for me offensively, he does not give away silly headers in the box when jumping with the opposing player though.
If I had to compare him to another player I used before, I would say he is everything if Manolas was supposed to be, but FAR better.
Definitely recommend him.

I play this game too much. Anyway when that Iker Castillas SBC, I knew I had to have him. I couldn't afford Ramos and Nacho's 86 card, so I used Azpilicueta and Eder Militao. Militao is a different kind of beast. He has the pace to catch up to almost anyone. He doesn't go up which is a plus for a CB. He stays back and is aggressive in the right way. His lunges are surprisingly really effective and this adds on to aggression. He will go until he can win the ball back. When he does his passing is good for a CB. Better than Chiellini but don't expect a Ramos pass. His dribbling is good for a CB and his pace helps as well. Overall really surprised of how effective his card was.
Pace: Can catch up to anyone
Defending: His lunges are good and wins the ball back with his aggression.
Stamina:89 stamina is huge for a defender. Lasts all game don't need to sub him out. And plays good all game
Passing: Its solid enough for a defender to play out the back.
Dribbling is good for a Cb
His shooting is not good. But he's a defender so I really don't expect much.
His weak foot. Sometimes a problem with accuracy when passing with the weak foot. 2* weak foot.
I Picked Him Up For 20,500 And He's A Couple K Dearer Now
He Is Pretty Fast With Anchor And Really Good At Just Smashing People (Slide Tackles)
He Has Good Dribbling For A CB
He's Good For Corners With His Headers (With Anchor)
He Will Last The Whole Game With Stamina
He Not The Best At Passing
