Best Box 2 Box Midfielder in La Liga

The SBC was a little pricey, but I only spent 150k on Vidal since I had some of players needed for the SBC.

Let me say I was first a bit skeptical that he was worth this much, but it turned out he was the best box to box midfielder I needed in my La Liga squad.

First couple games I used for Division Rivals, and I could tell Vidal was frustrating my opponents by intercepting passes and tracking back and forth to disrupt the rhythm of their offenses.

Offensively, he is a solid passer and rarely made any passing mistake. For a CM, he's a good shooter, but don't expect him to be like Eriksen or KDB in terms of being able to shoot from outside the box. However, he was actually solid enough to finish in the box for me when he would cut in. Vidal even scored a sweet volley goal from a cross in the box once that made my opponent rage quit. Physically, he is pretty much an agile tank and won most of the aerial battles for me against other midfielders. Only midfielders that are stronger than Vidal are Casemiro and Kondogbia for La Liga, but they are less agile and not as quick compared to Vidal.

Overall, I'm very happy to have done this SBC. I would say he's a Chilean Kante in the game with better shooting.Put the engine chem on him and it will make him the near perfect box to box midfielder. He might be a little hard to link for a hybrid squad, but if you have a La Liga squad, he fits in perfectly.

First of all, if you look at my squad, I play a 442, not 424... I just set it up like that for chemistry. Second, I just bought Optimus Prime Socrates but Arturo Vidal held that spot the entire year so credit is due to him for beasting it all year. All I can say is that if you didnt do him the first time he came out, you were a fool and when he got rereleased, you really didnt have any excuse if you werent running a la liga squad. King Vidal has at the time of this writing 384 games played with 82 goales and 168 assists. He was just a pitbull for me in midfield, and his M/M workrates are PERFECT for the 442 formation, paired with another m/m like future stars arthur. Key things for me everytime I went into a match was his positioning in field whether it was to start an attack or in the right spot to defend. He was never really too far back or in front perhaps due to his work rates but thats why he had so many assists for me, he was always getting that pass to my forward strikers with his insane passing. For maximum efficiency, I found that basic was the best chem style for him since it boosted everything. His aggression and defensive stats always made sure he could get the ball back for me and his shooting was not half bad. All in all, he IS the best CM ive used all year and even though I´m trying out socrates for chemistry to my new Sandro and for fun purposes, he will be a fond memory I will have once Fifa 20 starts. Thank you flashback vidal, you made this years game bearable for me.

Excellent stamina, although I would make him run alot because of his M/M, he needs a switch at the 80th minute but can still last the full 90 if need be.
Great all around stats and the perfect b2b midfielder.
