This card is magical
By ET318, 06-04-2019

When this SBC dropped I saw the stats compared to the price and felt it would be a great card to grab. Considering some untradeables I had it cost me around 50k-60k which made me worried I wouldn't like the card. Let me just say, I was 100% wrong to have any worries. This card can perform absolute magic scoring in situations you wouldn't expect and somehow always beating the keeper. I would say that this card is at least as good if not better than cards 3-4 times the cost. What is even more astonishing. These stats are only from coming in as a substitute. I have no used him as a starter in a single game and they have all been online games.

Pace: He is rapid and almost always finds a way to beat the defender

Strength: Along with beating the defender he can hold the defender off while running

Heading: Somehow he manages to find the height to reach almost any ball

Shooting: His left food is an absolute monster that will score some pretty goals

Passing: Not too bad but nothing special. If you want him to play cam I would not use him

Shooting: While his left foot is great he seems to not be willing to shoot with his right foot no matter what which is peculiar because his right foot is his strong foot

Defending: He doesn't tackle well and manages a yellow card because he has terrible tackling form

Dribbling: He has good balance and agility but he isn't gonna do tight turns

Jackson's Back!
By NickB93, 09-04-2019

When I saw flashback Jackson Martinez was released, I didn't intend to do him at first. He's a bit tricky to link and I had told myself to stay of SBCs until TOTS. But then again, I thought, why not do him and try out a random card instead of the usual suspects I've been using up top. And I didn't regret that decision one bit. I used him for 12 games, all of them in Rivals division 1. Scored. 17 goals and 3 assist and helped me get the fot swap player from weekly objectives with ease.

I did the loan version of Prime Moments Cruyff to get Martinez to 10 chem. Switched formation in game to 4-3-3 (4) with Martinez playing as a lone striker. Seriously considering to play him the upcoming weekend league if I can find a way to link him up without loan Icons.

Pace: 87 pace is a bit lower then what I usually play with up top, but he felt quite rapid when he ran on through balls. His exceptional strength will help you hold off defenders that catches up on him.

Shooting: The shot power on this guy is unreal. In my first game I was bagging a hattrick with him, all 3 goals were rockets from distance. His finesse shots wasn't as great as his power shots, so I would suggest just relying on powering it in the far corner.

Physical: His pace and finishing was a pleasant surprise, but his number one weapon is his heading. I'm usually pretty poor scoring on corners, but this guy made it so easy. He was putting away every corner that came close to him, didn't matter which defender that where marking him. As previously mentioned, his strength is exceptional and he bodies most defenders in the game.

Dribbling: I was expecting him to be a bit clumsy, which he was at times. But his agility and dribbling is above average for a player that relies on power and strength and unless you're a skiller he will not disappoint you in this department.

Finesse Shots: Pretty much the only weakness I can think of. I stopped trying to curve the ball into the net because it was an easy save for the keeper every time it felt like. His overall shooting kinda neglects this though, he put the ball in the net with ease anyway and that's all I need from my striker.

Links: I managed to link him because I had Jefferson Lerma and Fredy Guarin untradeable in my club. But since Liga Nos don't offer that many quality choices and most colombian players on the market just don't cut it, he's a bit tricky to get on full chem.

JACKSON... MARTINEZZZ
By Dubrahimovic, 26-05-2019

For me, this is like the best cheap striker card I used in the all game!!! He is better than so many strikers!! He's tall, strong and wins EVERY SINGLE AIR DUEL! For me, he'slike Ronaldo, but with only thing left, the skills. He can do heel flicks and roulettes, but it's not perfect. So, he's better (for me than):

-Cavani

-Kane

-All auba cards

-All Lacazzette cards

-All Aguero cards but the tots

-so many others

-long shots

-4 star weak foot that feels like 5

-heading accuracy

-stamina

-jumping

-shot power

-strenght

-speed

-nice passing

-pretty good dribbling

-hard to link

-3 star skills

-balance

Jackson Martinez, the best cheap striker?
By justlookatme4ever, 08-04-2019

Jackson Martinez is something different! He could score from absolutely anything. He scores from corners, he scores volleys, he scores one on ones, he even scores timed finesses after the patch. He is defently the best "cheap" striker i have used in Fifa 19. At this time when I'm writing this review he has played 38 games, and scored 38 goals. He also has 22 assist in the 38 games he has played. Even though ha has 22 assist he is not a good linkup striker, but that I'll toutch deeper on when it comes to the cons.

  • He feels very fast even though he "only" has 87 pace and a chem style that does not boost pace. He runs past OP defenders like Varane and Van Dijk.
  • His shooting is incredible, he strikes the ball so hard. His shots feels like Ronaldo's shots, it's that powerful.

Passing is really not that good. He has 82 shortpass and 67 longpass, and you could feel that. He is ok when it comes to leying of the ball to another attacker inside or just outside of the box, but trying a cross field pass with him will more often than not result in a loss of possesion.

  • His dribbeling is very good for a big player with low balance. His agility is very good at 85 base stat and even better with 90 with the marksman chemstyle. He has 3 star skill moves but you could do some OP skillmoves like the heel to heel with Martinez.

His defending is nothing special, with his 87 pace he can catch up with some passes, and with his 93 physicality he can knock the ball off some defenders.

  • Martinez has awsome physicality stats! It might be the best part about his card. With the marksman chemstyle he gets 96 jumping and with him already being 185cm tall or 6'1 inches the 96 jumping makes him win almost every header. He also has 84 stamina, it's not superb but if you don't play a high pressing game, or play high pressure one half his 84 stamina works just fine. Martinez has 99 strength, he feels very strong, but with people using defenders like Van Dijk and Ferdinand he will get bullied of the ball sometimes, but he burst trough wing backs with his pace and amazing strength.
  • 3 star skill moves
  • 68 balance
  • Hard to link up
