First of all I am Huge fan of Torres. I regretted not doing his Flashback card which was expensive that time. When I saw this card, I was so tempted to get it. Firstly, this card is so cheap. Cost around 60-70k coins. I somehow did it for free based on the untradables I had. I guarantee you, it is totally worth it. I did FB Iniesta so that i can play Torres on Full chem. I build an hybrid squad between Liga BBVA, Serie A and Ligue 1. For fut champs I am usually Gold 3/2 and Rivals Division 3.

Pace: Torres is freaking fast. He will run pass any defenders with ease.

Shooting. His best stats. Don't be fooled with his 94 stats, it feels like 99. He would just score almost anywhere. I managed to score plenty of Long shots, headers and remarkably "outside" foot shots. Left foot goals wasnt a problem at all.

Dribbling: He is kinda Agile, he can dribble so smooth. The 62 balance wasnt a problem for me at all.

Passing: Fairly good for a striker, good short passing useful for "1-2" passes.

Physicality: Damn, my favorite for a striker. The 95 strength will just out muscle any defenders including the likes of VVD or FB Luiz. That 99 jumping and his height is perfect for corner kick header goals. Stamina is alright but can last for game.

However, somehow he tends to miss easy goals but maybe it was just my wrong timing or mistake.

When Freddy Mercury wrote the lyrics to Bohemian Rhapsody, I can't help but believe he had a premonition about this card in the future. I am a fairly casual FIFA player since FIFA 13, I haven't had the luxury of using all of the best players in the game (outside of loan cards) but I have used my fair share of TOTS cards (please see the squad link provided) and I can't stress this enough. This card is the best card I have ever used in any FIFA. Ever.

Liverpool's golden boy is back and he is going out with a bang. This guy just scores for fun. It literally does not matter how you shoot it. Finesse? Goal. Power? Goal. Volley? Goal. Header? Goal. Left peg, right peg? Goal. Goal. It is literally easier to score then it is to miss with this card. I have never used a card that has had such an immediate impact in my team. And I am a noob at this game, I can't do many skill moves, but it literally does not matter with this guy, just hit shoot and it's going in whether its 40 yards out or 4 yards out. I played 3 games with him before writing this review and I genuinely scored 4 of my top 5 goals ever in those 3 games. Not only does he score goals though, he scores worldies. Twice the keeper was literally left flat footed as he watched El Niño sail one past him into the top bins. His shot power is immense and he is pretty much breaking the back of the net with every goal.

I ran him with a marksman chem style which maxed out all his shooting stats (except penalties) as well as topping up his dribbling and physical stats taking him to a 98 points per position striker. His pace was not a concern for me, because once you play that through ball he has already reached top speed and is cruising past defenders. His strength also ensures that he is not bullied off the ball easily. His passing was a little underwhelming for me, which I could've potentially fixed with a different chem style, but as I said earlier, there is no need to even worry about passing, just get into space and hit shoot. His stamina was not a concern to me at all. Obviously if I had a preference I would like to be high 80s, low 90s, but due to his work rate and perfect attack positioning, he is able to conserve his energy throughout the game and remain relatively fresh in the back end of the match. If/when Torres gets an icon in the future, I can see it being very similar to this, so when you think about it that way, for around 75k assuming you have to buy all players, it's truly of incredible value.

The craziest thing about all of this is that I am not even playing him on full chem. He is currently playing on 8 chem in my La Liga/Eredivisie hybrid. Honestly a little scared that the card will just break if I get it to 10 chem.

TL;DR: You should get this card, 100%. No questions asked.

After completing the cheap Iniesta SBC, this (also really cheap) Torres SBC looked great. I am really happy with the way he plays.

He is a really fast player, but lacks acceleration, you can mostly see this when he’ll get a through ball from the sides. Other than that, he is fast enough to dribble through the last line of defense without much difficulty.

His shooting is phenomenal. I stuck Marksman on him, and this got him to 99 shooting. He is very accurate and rarely misses the goal.

His passing isn’t something to be proud of, he does have good short passing, but his long passing is a bit of a problem sometimes.

The dribbling stats are really good, his high dribbling and ball control means that he is really hard to get off the ball and his reactions and agility help a lot as well. The only con is his balance and his 3* skill moves.

The only relevant defending stat for him is his heading accuracy. He rarely misses the target with his head.

His physical stats are much better than average for a striker this fast. He’ll jump above nearly everyone and can push people away with his strength. The only con is his stamina, but if you instruct him to stay forward, this isn’t a problem at all.

In my team (4-5-1) he is a good striker. He will finish most of his chances, but sometimes seems to be in the CAMs’ shadows because they are so close behind him.

Compared him with Ibra TOTS, i do think him it s better in all category except the passing and Skills Moves.

As soon as I saw that Torres SBC I assumed that it would cost a fortune - but as a suprise its basically atleast at this state of the game - for free. And of course I knew that he wouldnt fit in my prime WL squad because of that J-Leauge batch but i would use him as a kind of super sub when my Crespo is done. I've done this now for 15 Games and he scored 7 coming off the bench usually after 65 minutes. For me as a medicore FIFA player (Gold 2 WL) this is a good quota! Most of those 7 goals came from shots inside the box, some were headers even against van Dijks etc.

If you have the Players to get him for free this is a no-brainer! If you have to buy all the needed players there are better players on the market.
