Look I'm sure no one here is surprised to hear that a 94 rated prime icon Ronaldinho is end an amazing end game card
However why I did want to write this review is because as someone who used him for over 500 games in FIFA 18 and has used him for about 3 days in FIFA 19, there is something he offers that very few other cards do and that is LONG TERM VALUE.
Let me explain, prime R10 is one of the most versatile attacking cards in the game, with his 5 star skills 4 star weak foot and very high stats across all attacking attributes, by using different chem styles he can become a 10/10 player for any CAM/CF/LW/LF/ST role.
"Well why should I care" - Random Futbin user 2018
The reason why you should care is because most of us know that EA tax is literally the worst thing when dealing with end game cards, losing potentially hundreds of thousands of coins if you pick a player that you later choose to sell. Why Ronaldinho's versatility is so valuable is that I honestly believe that he is one of the best long-term investment cards if you plan to build your team over the entire year.
If you can afford him early in the year, you can move him around positionally in your team's attack or midfield as you acquire more and more specialised 'end game' cards, yet Ronaldinho will still be a terror to your opponents even after the game is well and truly dead filled with TOTS/TOTY cards in late 2019.
Quick player review for those who can’t guess: he has amazing passing, finesse shots, powered shots, pace dribbling etc.
if I was to describe how he feels on the ball, he's like a combination of Neymar and Ronaldo (cr7), giving him amazingly fast and agile dribbling but also the powerful forward movement to not get pushed off the ball or dispossessed.
TLDR: He can play any attacking role and will never be outclassed so you can use him all year making him one of the safest end game icon purchases.
p.s anyone who thinks my games to goals is a lie, please keep in mind he scored 16 goals over 2 squad battles games which makes his stats a little bloated.
- Best skiller in the game (as of 10/11/2018)
- Plays any attacking position perfectly
- Like a hybrid of CR7 and Neymar
- Stamina (only if game hits extra time)
Here is my review for the Magician Ronaldinho !
I played with him 47 matches 53 goals , 25 assists at ST in 4-1-2-1-2(2) next to ucl Cr7
This card is so good and so much fun ! I'm not a skiller player i do normal skill moves like any other player but with Ronaldinho i do so many moves and skills !! He so fast and so much fun and clincal as well
Pace 10/10 : he is so fast !
Shooting 10/10 : his shooting is great And he is clinical ! His finesse shot is something else , when you cut inside and and finesse it with his right foot 100% goal ! I score many goals with his left foot as well !
Passing 10/10 : his passing is great i did so many hard passes with him and delivered the ball in all of them !
Dribbling: UNBELIEVABLE !!!! AMAZING !!! 10/10 is not enough !! there is no words can describe his dribbling! Everything in his dribbling category is amazing ! So fast to dribble and do crazy skill moves and his hair is so cool when you do it :D
Defending : N/A
Physicalty 9/10 : strength great , jumping is also great didn't find any problem at all , for stamina i was playing him at ST and his work rate is H/L so was okay even many matches I played him for 120m and didn't take him out because he was making the difference in the team
Overall: is he worth 2.4m ? Yes 100% !! Eusebio has better shooting and 5* WF but Ronaldinho is amazing and has 5* SM !!! And so much fun ! I was doing the skills around vieira ,toty vvd and go through like nothing!
Life is short so enjoy it and bring the magician to your team
5* Skill move
The first thing I can say is that this Ronaldinho card is the best I've used in a long long time.
So, I had around 1.5m and was excited to try some new cards out. I tried CR7, 91 Mbappe, 93 Neymar and middle Eusebio and I couldn't get along with any of them that well. Then I was looking at the SBC section and Ronaldinho caught my eye instantly. So I started building towards him and completed him after rewards and all I can say is that I don't regret it whatsoever. He outplays every single one of the cards I just mentioned. The card for me has 40 games, 56 goals and 23 assists from CAM in a 41212(2). Let's get into the card stat by stat.
Pace: Ronaldinho was rapid in real life, we all know that. I mean look at his debut goal for Barcelona for example, you'd expect him to be rapid on FIFA too and my god is he quick. He accelerates away with EASE and when he reaches that top speed, no one except maybe a TOTY Varane/Ramos. Safe to say, you don't have to worry about his pace because he's so quick. A pace chemistry style isn't needed imo. 9/10
Shooting: Might be the next best attribute. Ronaldinho's finesse shots inside and outside the box shouldn't be allowed for real. He's so clinical, he'll score any chances you get. He just doesn't miss. His volleys are even unreal too, I've scored a looot of el tornado volley shots with this guy, he knows how to do it for sure. Basically, this guy rarely miss anything unless it's a dodgy angle or a block. 10/10
Passing: Oh man can this guy pass. His through balls are legit unreal, they're so inch-perfect as they can be. His short passing is very good too if you're gonna use him at ST or even CAM for one-twos. This man can also score free kicks left, right and centre. With his exceptional curve, free kicks and passes seem to reach it's destination easily. 10/10
Dribbling: Oh boy, here we go. We all know Ronaldinho is one of the best ever with his feet, that's what he's known for. Ronaldinho's feet are as unreal on FIFA as in real life. There isn't a word that's good enough to describe how good Dinho is with his feet. He is so damn smooth and he'll slide past every defender on this game with just a simple skill move or tap. Them feet combined with 94 agility and 89 balance shouldn't be allowed. Try some elastico's with him, they're legit broken! His reactions and composure makes him so good and doesn't miss a thing in front of goal or when he's gonna perform a skill move. Dinho is by far the best with his feet maybe alongside TOTY Neymar. 100000/10
Defending: Dinho isn't known for defending, he's a forward. N/A
Physical: Ronaldinho has the 84 strength combined with 89 balance which makes him so so hard to push the ball off. Dinho is also 5'11" and has 84 jumping, he'll definitely be able to jump over defenders to win headers, he's scored some goals from near post corners too! The only "weak" thing here is the stamina. 83 is alright but not too amazing. He'll def be able to play the full 90 and even 120 minutes but you maybe need to sub him off at times. 7/10
Overall this card is absolutely mental. He's so much fun to use and he's made me love FIFA again. I'd 10000% recommend him if he seems like your type of player. I'd play Dinho at CAM/LAM/RAM/LW/RW if you're gonna get this card, he can ofc play ST if you need him to but if you're looking for an outright striker, I'd go Eusebio/CR7. But cam or wide, Dinho is your man. In terms of chemistry styles for him, I personally use maestro because he becomes a 97 rated CAM and he gets boost in stats that are important. It's up to you and your play style, but maestro is my recommendation. I'd say his SBC is worth it for sure if you have enough or won't be far away. If you don't, wait a little because TOTS is happening, at this time writing this that is. There could be an even bigger market crash further ahead. Or if you wanna save up, do it, he's so worth in the end!

Clunky, rarely but can happen
Ronaldinho. The magician. The player that brought true samba to the game. Always with a smile on his face.
A big part of this card is nostalgia. Skilling with R10 and seeing that ponytail fly feels like you're watching him play in real life. But let's talk about how he is in game first.
Pace: He's fast. Not Mbappe fast, but fast enough to get away from defenders. He can easily get a couple of meters between him and the opposition when you play a through ball to him.
Shooting: Pretty good, but sometimes inconsistent. As a CAM or LW that's not a big problem, but if you're thinking of playing him striker he needs a chem style to max his shooting out.
Dribbling: Wow. This is the category where he really shines. He dribbles and especially skills like no other player I've used in this game. For example I have 90 Mbappe in my team, and although they should feel similar looking at stats and skillmoves Ronaldinho's dribbling is just a step above. I think it has something to do with having high strength and decent aggression as well which makes getting the ball off him very hard.
Defending: He doesn't really defend. He also doesn't track back a lot unless you manually make him because of his high/low workrates. And although he has good jumping he cannot head the ball very well.
Physical: Like mentioned before his strength and aggression stand out. It gives him a rare combination of strength, speed and dribbling which makes getting the ball off him really hard. His stamina is alright. He gets tired around the 80th minute if you run all game with him. Be a bit conservative and he'll make the 90th easily.
For me this card is an endgame card, but most importantly R10 makes this game fun again. Nothing is more enjoyable than to see Ronaldinho skill past two opponents and putting the ball in the back of the net. That's why, atleast for me, this card is worth it. Even if you don't know any skillmoves then Ronaldinho will make you want to learn.
I sold my entire club to do this SBC because I wanted him in my team. If you are like me and play Fifa mostly for fun and would like to play with a childhood hero then I'd say go for it and you won't regret it. If you don't recognize yourself in that then there's plenty of different players to spend your hard-earned coins.

- Good shooting.
- It's Ronaldinho. You want this magnificent ponytail in your life.
