I wanted to get a review up before his SBC expires so people can decide whether or not they want to complete him. He is about 140-150k for the SBC which is in line with the price of other top end RW cards in the PL (Sterling) but he is untradeable though you get some packs back. I think he is a solid card but would be hesitant to unload 140k for him. He has performed well for me so far with 4 goals and 3 assists through 6 rivals games. I tried one game with him as the Right CAM in a 4-2-3-1 but his weak foot is a real problem. He performed a lot better as the Left Cam or as a Left Striker in a 4-1-2-1-2. He needs to be able to get in behind defenses and cut inside to get on his right foot which does have a pretty good shot. He was able to put in 2 finesse shots from outside the box. His passing has been good enough to play in a CAM role but he excels at getting in behind the defense. However, he doesn't feel rapid and I suspect his dribbling stats let him down here. I had normally been playing Depay in his position and Walcott feels slower than Memphis did. All in all, if you have lots of untradeables currently, it isn't a bad card but he has not been a standout player for me (whereas guys like Aubameyang and Firmino have been lights out).
Fast in a straight line and can be easily let through cleanly if played as a striker.
His finesse shots have impressed me with a couple good finishes from outside the box.
His passing has been good too. He could potentially play as a CAM in a 4-1-2-1-2 if you didn't want to put him at striker. Overlapping runs from a fast CAM are very strong this year.
I haven't really noticed his stamina being an issue in playing the whole game with pressing after possession loss.
Weak foot is a big let down. Almost required to play him on the left side of a formation since his left foot is dead. Missed two midly easy finishes because he was on the right side.
While his finesse shots are good, the power on his shots is noticeably weak. Compared to someone like Shaqiri who just rips shots for some reason, Walcott seems to have a noodle for a leg.
While he is fast, he doesn't feel like the fastest player on the pitch. His driblling stats are not that great and he struggles to just blow by defenders. Plus, if you have him in a wide formation, it makes it difficult to get inside since he has a lack of skill moves and doesn't keep the ball close.
He is fairly weak and can bullied off the ball like most wingers.
