Since I've loved Azpilicuetas cards in the previous Fifas (especially his 86 rated base CB card), this flashback was a must-buy for me.
Looking at comments and the tons of downvotes he got, I feel like I have to stand up for my Spanish brother Cesar. First of all, his price is totally okay. Vvd goes for 400k. Flashback David Luiz was 550k. Scream Otamendi, who is HORRIBLE, still goes for 160k. 200k for an 88-rated Spanish Prem CB? That's not expensive. I've so far used him in about 10 rivals and 3 WL matches and his in-game performance is stunning. I've slapped a shadow on him and he works wonders. He is that kind of a card you simply feel safe with, one of those defenders of which you know he's going to win the ball back once you're close to it. His pace is amazing for a CB, he is agile, has balance, sections and composure and decent passing. His defensive stats are nuts. The one big downside everybody points at ist the 73 strength. For me, that's not a deciding factor. Paired with almost maxed out defending stats (as a shadow) and 88 aggression he just gets the ball back. no more strength needed. his height doesn't bother me at all since headers don't exist and agile CB's are way more effective in L2/LT defending. Additionally, he can be paired up with Ramos or alba and links green into icon swaps Hierro and guardiola. hands down, he's one of the best centerbacks of many I've tried

I was looking for a reliable CB as this card was released. VVD hasn't been cutting it for me as he kept giving the ball away in dangerous situations. Azpilicueta has great agility and balance stats for a CB, and combined with his great pace, you wont be needing to apply a shadow or anchor. he manages to keep strikers such as Mbappe at bay and with sentinel, he becomes a real interception machine.
The main strength of this card is it's responsiveness. his agility and balance is miles ahead of baby Ferdinand and VVD, and the only other prem CB with better overall dribbling stats is David luiz's overpriced flashback.
The downside to this card is the strength (again, improved with sentinel) and his height is not much of a problem due to the flimsy headers EA put in this fifa, so for 200k he is a very good value for money CB.
