94 - TOTS
Let's not waste any time here; for those looking for a quick summary - Pizzi is a really solid option for the $75k price tag, but .... he does not fit the meta of this game and he will frustrate you just as much as he delights you during intense Weekend League & Division Rivals matches.
I used him in the CAM position in a 4-1-2-1-2 (narrow) formation with an engine chemistry style and stay forward instructions during 15 matches of FUT Champs.
In summary, he has great finishing, passing, and positional movement .... but he fell short in tight spaces; most notably getting off quick shots, making quick turns when under pressure, and and sub-par controlled dribbling in tight spaces. If you play a quick-passing & sharp-movement play style, Pizzi will not be your man. If you just need a CAM who is always in a good position to get the ball to your better play-makers, he will work well.
I'll go into more detail below.
Pace: His pace I'll put as a pro, but I found it to be average. It felt like 87-88 Pace, not 90. Part of this has to do with his overall build; he is 5'10", but the style in which he runs and moves makes him feel like he is closer to 6'1". This is due in part to his agility & overall player build in-game.
Passing: He passed really well. Can take a little more time to deliver the pass, but when he does, I found the passes to be more than accurate enough for FUT Champs.
Stamina: Was rarely tired, his 99 stamina is a huge plus for the latter stages of matches.
Shooting: His finishing felt more like a 92-92 as opposed to an 88. He finished well, but he would take time to "power-up" his shot, which resulted in missed opportunities. I'll go into more detail in the "con" section below.
Positioning: His positioning was really solid, he moved into and out of space well, and his AI was very smart in finding space in and around the box.
Agility: He did not feel very agile, even with an engine chemistry style. He felt sluggish when making sharp turns to evade defenders around the box, especially when being pressured. As mentioned before, he plays like his height would be over 6'.
Dribbling: On the ball dribbling is decent, not horrible, but not ground-breaking. The issue I have with his "dribbling" was his first touch in tight spaces. He lost the ball several time when receiving the ball, especially with his back to net close to the edge of the box. This meshed with his slower "quick-turns" as I like to call them, created many scenarios where his attempt to move quickly in tight spaces resulted in losing the ball to opposing CDMs & CBs.
Shooting: As mentioned above, his finishing is really solid for playing a CAM position, but he took a lot of time to power up shots, which resulted in CBs having extra time to close him down and block good opportunities.
