Zakaria has been a really good cb for me in fut champs, his pace helps him get to a lot especially with his 6'3 figure.however you might wanna boost his acceleration (81) so a shadow will make him a key defender!

I have used this card in Fut Champions and it really is brutal.

He can defend many strikers in the race, and he is always very well placed. He is similar to David Luiz, but he has High deffense workrate who make him so good.

He is only 200k, is best than the cheaper Van Dijk but you have to do good links to him ...

OMG he's insane. physicals are spot on good height great passing and defensive stats with amazing pace.

Hello folks, this review is based on the Shapeshifter Zakaria but at CDM! In game, Blanc 85 swaps to CB with Zakaria swapping over to CDM. He plays fantastically well alongside moments Kimmich who both keep the shape of the formation and control the game. He plays with the Guardian chem style as I feel this is what is needed for him at the CDM spot. He doesn’t feel sluggish; his passing is acceptable and his defensive attributes are through the roof. His interceptions is what I love mostly about him in the CDM, opponents try to thread the ball through but in comes Zakaria with his interceptions and defensive awareness to cut out any through ball/pass to start a counter attack with Kimmich. Most of my attacking plays came from Zakaria’s interceptions which allowed a quick counter attack to start . Lastly, the work rates on this card as a CDM are fantastic with a player who plays alongside him with H/H work rate, like Kimmic. Both just gel so well together in the middle.

PACE: His acceleration and sprint speed I feel is adequate for the CDM spot.

SHOOTING: His long shots aren’t great at all and his finishing is very poor when in the box so I suggest to just blast it and hope!

PASSING: His passing is very acceptable for the CDM position. Short, Long and Visionary over 80 states this.

DRIBBLING: He is not sluggish at all. The GUARDIAN chemistry helps him a lot and his first touches are brilliant.

DEFENDING: On another level. His interceptions as I have mentioned are just exceptional. Defensive awareness around the pitch are spot on for a central defensive midfielder!

PHYSICAL: His physicality you will notice from the get go. Strength is sublime and his aggression is 10/10, fights for the badge! Stamina would be the downside.

I already had that flashback fabian schar card in defense and he was a gem for me but i was struggling to find him a partner in crime. I couldn't afford VVD because my pack luck is worse than Mesut Ozil with blond hair (that still creeps me out, ugh) and players like TOTY nominee Laporte, Futmas Sanchez, Normal Akanji (because i didn't bother grinding for the storyline) even Winter Refresh Ake weren't consistent enough for me. Step forward, Zakaria. He remind me of Rio Ferdinand (who i could only be able to use in drafts because i can't afford him) with his big frame yet sudden bursts of pace. I put a sentinel on him (to anyone who puts a shadow on him, i hope u step on a small and sharp lego) and he does he job in defense alongside digne and mbabu. His agility and balance at times can be a little rusty and that 71 jumping and heading accuracy does let him down at times but his pace, frame and strength more than make up for it. It's early days but i highly recommend him.
