So about two weeks ago I restarted my account. I just wanted to build a new squad with new players that would come out. When I saw this card I was absolutely stoked on getting him and I was able to do him for 60k with item out of my club. Oh boy, I do not regret that. You got to now that I played him as a CAM and as a striker with the Hunter chemistry style.

The card is only out for a few hours and I’ve played 10 weekend league games with him so far, and I can tell you that he is unbelievable. I’m a bad player overall and I hope to get Gold 3 in a good weekend. This card made it so much fun to play though. Managed to get 8/2 in WL which is insane for me.

His 5* weak foot is incredible. Being able to bang in goals from both feet is really OP this year, so this card is not an exception.

With Hunter he is actually quick enough. Manages to get to the ball early and it doesn’t feel like he needs another pace upgrade.

His shooting stats are insane as well. I noticed that especially volleys are insanely overpowered. He managed to get goals with volleys from angles where I couldn’t even pull it off if there was no goalkeeper. He does it with Ter Stegen in goal.

Passing is enough, I use him in 4-1-2-1-2 (2) where all the players are close to each other. Quick combinations are great with him.

I’ve seen people complain about the 77 balance stat. I gotta admit that I somehow didn’t check that stat before getting him, and it really didn’t influence his game. I mean that I never wondered: ‘Wow his balance must be really bad’. He felt great on the ball and I have no complaints about it.

So his physical stat is the only downside of this card. You can pretty much sub him after 70 minutes, which is fine by me because I have enough good subs. His strength is terrible and I haven’t really seen him win challenges. If you need a player who can win a challenge or two, he isn’t ideal.

Overall I believe that his card is an absolute steal. It made the game more fun for me to play and I’d recommend him to everybody honestly.

I tried it in division rivals to see if it turned out for me in fut champions, but his passes are too smooth, his shot is brutal and he doesn't feel that agility 84 with that style of chemistry, it's worth every coin, also his passes are a work of art and a joy to watch,both legs are excellent.For me is one of the best fut birthday card they have released in this fifa

Alright, I know this card has been out for a day as of writing this review, but it is a must have in your club. As soon as this SBC was released, I completed it. I had to wait though coz I did't finish it until late. After a day's playing with him, he has put a strong contender for one of my favourite cards this year. I originally had the scream Ozil, which was decent but only had a 2* weak foot, and I have to say that this is a major upgrade to that card. In my first game with the card ( a division rivals game) he bagged himself a debut goal and 2 assists, that has become a formality for him as he gets an assist every game. Shooting-wise, the finesse shot trait is extremely useful to this card as he can pick up the ball on the edge and have a great attempt on net no matter what. His physicality has been upgraded significantly and it is a huge bonus as he won't get shoved off the ball as easily as his scream card. His pace is alright, but for him to be regarded as a great card, I feel that his pace needs to be a minimum 88. However the pace issue can be fixed with a Chemistry style. I personally play him on a maestro as his main job it to get past the defenders and play it into the strikers in my team. A major downside is his defending, but what else can you expect from a card with 28 defending and low work rate. He cannot win the ball back so easily in the final third and centre of the park like players such as Aouar, Fred and Kovacic (All of these being objective cards), but it is made up with his attacking play. In conclusion, I would say that it is an outstanding card to have, especially with a PL based team, however there are better alternatives out there for a much higher price. Just do the sbc and try him out

I did this guy because I´m a bit fanboy of Özil and this is the first usabel card of him in so much time. His passing is just unbelievable, he does short passes in the area that give goals, he doesn´t fail any long pass or cross. His shooting is very good with both feet, but his finesse with his weak foot isn´t like his left footed finesse. His dribbling is very good because of his ball control, but he isn´t that agile, and that isn´t the best because he gets bullied by every defender. His pace is enough to guide a counterattack but he can win in a half-field race.

Hi guys. So I saw the Ozil SBC and in need of an attacker for my squad as I've had gold Aubameyang since the start of FIFA, I needed to do it and it was a decent price. I ended up doing it mostly with untradeables, with only 50k spent. I used him with HUNTER chem style as a right ST in a 442 with get in behind instructions, and this card is amazing. He scores goals, get assists and somehow has 19 goals and 11 assists in only 11 games, although two were squad battles. I'm not sure if he can keep this up however he looks like an amazing card. There are some good arsenal cards this year, like Flashback and Shapeshifters Luiz, FFS Tierney, Player Moments Bellerin, as well as all the Aubameyang cards, as well as the endless premier league and german options, including FUT birthday Bellarabi (I might do a review on him depending on how many likes this gets), so he is easy to link as well, especially with the icon swaps being so good.
