so i used the gold version of this card at the start of this game and it was something else he has 80 plus pace on his gold card and is nice but for this stage of the game you need a better version of the card since he's been out due to injury and a certain virus unless they do what the premier league is doing hes not going to get an in form and I wanted a squad and I have some untrades so I picked him up played him with FB Neuer Hierro davies and wan bissaka really solid defense you might be scared of the 5-star skills and the high/high but he's ridiculous fast and you can rainbow flick the attack forcing your opponent to cry himself to sleep then die of embarrassment hes scored 2 goals in 42 games he got me to gold 2 and one of those 2 goals was a skill run yes a skill run hes the fastest CB you'll ever use his agility and balance is really good yes he will make the occasional run upfield but it's not terrible he gets back quickly.

His 84 was great, but this is even better
By ET318, 05-04-2020

I loved his 84 rated card. Bought the OTW when it came out and used it until this card came out. I've never liked a base gold card so much. He even made my team over 85 Ferdinand. So when this card came out, I knew I had to get it. It was a great choice. He was a little slow in the first few games I played but after like 3-4 games he really clicked into second gear. Since then he has been playing incredible. He has saved me countless goals and won me weekend league games. I also love the card design. The badge, flag, dynamic image, and card design all blend to create a very satisfying card.

  • Pace: he is very quick and that is useful when every weekend league game has Adam Traore, Kent, Sane, Dembele, Messi, Mbappe, etc.
  • Strength: he feels pretty strong to me
  • Heading: I've never had a player so determined to win every single corner kick (when I'm taking the corner)
  • Defending: he's very comfortable to jockey with which makes defending players like Messi, Neymar, and other dribblers much easier
  • Skill moves: I don't do skills but if you like skills, this is probably a good fit for you
  • Links: he has so many good strong and weak links
  • Shooting: he's a center back so it doesn't matter but he can't shoot
  • Passing: he usually makes good passes but messes up enough that is can be frustrating

Very good card! Cheap beast!
By StefWinden, 04-06-2020

Really good card for cheap! I think he's better than IF Varane. I used him on RCB, with Kamara on LCB. He's much better than Kamara, because of his really good feeling phisical. Great card for only around 100k. (packed him untreadable:-)

90 Aggression, 5* Skill Moves, 3* Weak Foot CB, Defending feels overpowered, Phisical feels really good, Cheap, High High WR.

82 Acceleration, 69 Dribbling, 67 Long Passing.

Decent, but.......
By ErikGaede, 06-04-2020

Lucas Hernandez is a player who is very good to play. His agility in combination with speed are his great strengths. However, its high / high work rates cause you more problems than you want. In addition, his tackles are sometimes out of control so that he does not win the duels. I've played a lot of central defenders, including Varane, Van Dijk, Koemann, Alaba. Looking on these competitors, I would rather play Hernandez than Varane and Koemann because I like to act myself. But when I left Hernandez to do Boateng, my opinion changed. Rather pay the 150k more for Boateng and do without the 2 pace less, Boateng is much better. If you don't have the coins for Boateng, Hernandez is definitely a good option. The 5 star Skillz are of course unnecessary. When you play him, I would give him an Guardian. Played him beforehand on Anchor, but with Guardian his tackles are better than with anchor and I have not felt the pace you want from the Anchor Chem Style...

Decent but is not super
By leovodi05, 06-05-2020

So I packed this Lucas Hernandez in the birthday pack and when I found him I was happy because the 84 was a very good defender and I was excited that I was able to try the 88 version. I tried him in few WLs but I was a bit disappointed. He was often out of position and so I took stupid goals because I don't know why he used to follow the other CB. His 5 stars of skill moves is a bonus but for a defender is not useful but is ok is not a cons. The tackles were often clear and he didn't took to many red cards. He wasn't very decisive of the corners but as we know this year is very difficult to score with the head so this wasn't a problem after all but sometimes he was able to win some head contrasts with great forwards like CR7 or raul prime moments. I think that 200k for this card is a decent price but now with the tots you can fund something better.
