My ps plus subscription recently ended and im not planning on renewing it until summer break. Can i get him only on squad battle objectives?(including next season objectives)

I would say you probably could. Last season they released 5 tokens for squad battles including the other 3 tokens that were out and I don't see why they wouldn't do the same this season.
