At the first round of the knock out phase, teams have a chance to get a +2 in total if they win the first match and go trough (they can even lose the 2nd match as long as they go trough after the 2nd match).

THAT ROUND IS AN EXCEPTION.

After that, it's always +1 after the player's team goes trough the next round until they win the final.
