I start him at CDM with 7 chem in a 433(3) then switch to 4231 ingame. His work rates get him everywhere in the pitch. I never used to play possession but with him, the midfield is literally all him. Highly recommend. if you can switch him with any CDM that can play CB to get him at 10 chem also recommend that. Both my CDM's are High/High but I have stay back cover center on both. Your defenders always have an open pass on either side of them.
High/High
Insane stats
Gets assists !
Can dribble if needed
Hes alwasy there when you need an open pass
A bit short but that can also be a pro when dribbling
Got him from my swap icon base pack, and he's an absolute beast. When I say he's everywhere, I mean it : Defence, attack, goalkeeper, in my living room ... I play him as CDM in a 4222, with 7 chem he's almost as good as when I swapped him with a CDM at 10 chem. Next to gravenberch, or any other CDM, they'll cover the whole field and with his quality of passing, he'll be able to create solid counter attacks, especially in this fifa where through ball are OP. Thanks to that incredible agressivity, he is able to compensate his low strenght and his little height, which are the reasons I do not play him as a DC. He's got a decent shooting next to this useful 4*WF, a decent dribbling, a nice pace ... But let's be honest, for that price (1,1M when I'm writing this), I think there are other game changers that you should take in consideration. However, if you need an icon CDM, i would definitly recommend him
Incredible agressivity
Everywhere on the field
Very good defence (takes the ball easily)
Decent shooting
Very good passing
Nice pace
Game changer
He's small (1,74cm)
He lacks strenght
Lacks agility and balance
Him being CB is a bit problematic for cheap teambuilding or original team building, since you can't really play him as CB (you have a choice between 7 chem CDM or a CDM switching with him but I don't find it a good option to put a CDM as a CB, appart from freeze marquinhos)
That's the end of my review, sorry for the english mistakes, I'm actually french so I'm not fluent. I'd be glad to answer any questions and I hope this was useful.
After I got these beast out from an base icon pack I was very happy because I always wanted to try him. So I slapped an Engine on him and started playing. What I can say after 31 games is that this guy is a game changer! He plays in 4231 at CDM next to Marquinhos Freeze and he is a beast. He wins every tackle. His passes are always on point. Sometimes he loses a header but this isn't really a big problem. With his High/High workrates he is everywhere on the pitch but he is never out of position. Matthäus is always there, where you need him and can also score some bangers from out of the box.
If you need an beast for 1,2million go and get him and you will see he will save your ass so many times!
And merry christmas! :)
pace: with an engine 87, which is a lot for a CDM
passing: always on point, also good stats on the card
everywhere on the pitch
workrates
decent shooting?
height: maybe a bit too small as a single CDM
stamina: only 86 on card but not a problem in game
So after packing him in my base icon pack I thought I should give him a go considering he was worth 1.2M at the time. He was in my team for around 40 games giving me enough time to fully understand how he plays and what the good and bad things are that he possesses. Firstly, I am a simple man. I like simple things. but having to change his position in game through my custom tactics was something I was not prepared to do. So with that I played him at his intended position of CB and well, hmmm, I don't know. On the ball he felt great and could make lovely advancing passes as well as fairly decent dribbling. His defending was fine, i felt I could trust him in 1v1 situations and also found his positioning and interceptions good. But. The guy is a midget. Not ideal for a CB and definately not ideal when he decides to position himself in the OP near post position for corners (which he never wins) usurping my taller players with better heading / jumping stats. He also did not feel strong enough to be a CB and could be found crying on the floor like a child numerous times in a game. This is why I don't rate him too highly and didn't feel he would have been worth the 1.2M coins.
