Hello everyone, I used Neuer for a few games now and he is sick! I use the new boateng in front of him and the are an insane wall! Everyone saying Pope is better, but Pope is just a long keeper, only tryhards use him. If u have the money and want a sick goalie, buy him! Follow Futartistnl for more reviews and designs!

Okay so in all honesty, as hype as TOTY is, this card will never be worth the price tag no matter how he plays, I've explained why in my video if you guys wanted to go watch some gameplay. https://youtu.be/A_6c5mzB9yo This guy has a hidden trait imo opinion which isnt actually in the game. Its INTIMIDATION... literally people refuse to shoot from 50 50 opportunities because they are in doubt thought will score so your opponents will overplay the baall to guarantee a goal, but this does not always work in your favour...
This guys stats are ridiculous, but he isnt a TOTY that gets you hyped to play the game so he isnt as enjoyable as a TOTY should be.

After I packed all my 100 saved packs and got 0 TOTY cards, I did the Boateng SBC and in one of the reward packs i got this beast.
Since I play Cannavaro and now Boateng at CB he's perfect for my team.
Played him in about 50 games since I got him and he was even better than expected.
I played Red Pick Navas before and already was happy with him, but Neuer is in another league.
A lot of plays I already gave up and lived with conceding the goal, but Neuer saved it with an unhuman reflex. Never thought a goalie could be worth over 500k, but he really is.

I saved up 90 odd packs for toty and got absolutely nothing until the very last pack and got this guy. Was kinda hyped and it was the reason I did the Boateng sbc.
Long story short I've just played shy of 30 games with him now and honestly if you think he's going to save shots other keepers aren't then you're kidding yourself. His kicking is really good as you would expect, but other than that I can't tell the difference between this guy and literally every other goalkeeper in this game. Countless times within those 30 games I look back at the goals I conceded that literally skim his foot or his hand as he does this funny little dive. It's infuriating.
Once every so often he'll come up with a great save and I'll think "damn that was alright" but like it doesn't make up for the 15 other shots that go in and make him look rubbish.
If you are seriously thinking of buying this guy then you probably have way too many coins. Just don't. trust me get his normal card and it'll basically be the exact same as this card.
I just wish the one I packed was tradeable damn.

I saved like 60 packs for TOTY and was lucky to pack this beauty from the 25 x 83+ pack!!
I played him first a view games in Rivals and was pretty disappointed. He was s*** like every other keeper but as i got him untrade he would stay in my squad anyway. So i entered weekend league and my oh my....he went absolutely crazy!!! He saved my ass so many times, kept me the lead or in game!! Now played the second weekend league with him and he was again outstanding!!
BUT
If i didn´t pack him, i would sell him 100%. He is crazy, trust me. But he has his errors like every other keeper in this game too. Just not that often. Sadly thats what makes the difference between a good or bad keeper in this game...

If you´re rich rich, a big Neuer fan or love real life football more than virtual --> buy him
If you´re on a budget or just can´t link Varane and Gomez with Neuer ;) --> stay with Pope

So I decided to write a review on TOTY Neuer.
I packed this guy back in the Premium Bundesliga upgrade SBC and tried him in two WL.
I have perfectly linked him with moments Boateng and Freeze Gosens.
Now hear me out, this guy might be the worst goalkeeper I have ever played with.
I managed to secure Gold 2 but I was conceding way too many goals due to his rush out of goal trait and easy lobbed finishes by the opponent.
Overall, doesn't feel like a special TOTY card, he had some brilliant moments but in most games, he would concede with the easiest chances.
He's 96 rated, for those who care about high squad rating.
Long throws are great.
Rushes out of goal is the most useless trait.
Doesn't feel different from the gold Neuer at all.
A liability overall
Neuer is absolutely insane and he should be considering he is the highest rated goalkeeper in the game (right now). However goalkeepers are goalkeepers and they will let goals in despite their rating. What I notice about this Neuer is that he can save long distance shots and very close up shots but, somethings he can be very annoying. He does these poses which is so pointless because he doesn't even get near the ball. Unless you have millions and millions of coins I would not get him just because he is 400k and he is a goalkeeper.

neuer came up quite cheap and brought him to replace my gold neuer over 600 games
just dont bother not worth the coins just stick with gold you wont feel cheated.

So i Packed This Guy and it Made me do Boateng Instantly, anyways hyped to try to my new backline and keeper. i jump into a few games..
Instantly Balls are Flying Under him.. around him.. above him.. and the worst part was they were all literally cm's away from his actual BODY.. these are shots ive seen bronze keepers and the worst of the worst save.
It Hurts my soul to see a Neuer perform so badly.. Let alone a TOTY..
so im like ahh maybe its just a dodgy game or two.. so i start switching chemistry styles on him every two games to see if that's the problem..
CAT seemed to have the best results.. but even then he was performing like a 12 rated GK and there was SILVER LINING to this card tho.. it made me do BOATENG

Ok, I know it is controversial to give a card like this such a low score, but hear me out.
I packed this card in a 75+ player pack, and was obviously super hyped. Therefore i understand you might think that my expectations were too high. But I have tried my best keeping realistic expectations, and believe this review is unbiased.
I used this card for 30 games in the weekend league, behind Van Dijk and fb Boateng. As i was playing I realised that I became more and more stressed when playing in defense, because it felt like if the opponent got a shot in, he would score. For each goal I let in I tried to tell myself that it would've been a goal with any goalkeeper. But after a while I had to realise it just wasn't the case. Something about him feels off. Before every shot he seems to make himself small, and he never stretches his arms out when diving. It looks like he is programmed to believe the ball is 15 cm closer to him than it really is. In one of the games i conceded a goal where to ball was going slowly straight towards his torso, but then he dived last minute away from the ball.
I must admit I am really dissapointed. He is ok from outside the box, and you can occasionally see his great reflexes. But he is way too inconsistent, and the amount of mistakes makes him close to unusable for me. I would definately pick Alison before him.
I really hope my luck was just bad in these games, but based on what i have seen of him i would'nt recommend him to anyone.
