Worth the Grind (he is cracked)
By Gorbonzobean, 13-02-2021

So, after playing way too much fifa on Friday I finally unlocked this card and after taking him into 4 games of rivals I can say he is absolutely worth it. I think that the 85 version is really good as well but this one just takes it to the next level. Pace 9/10- with a hunter he is really fast and has no problems getting in behind. Shooting 9/10- he is an absolute monster in terms of finishing and plays well above his stats, inside the box he doesn't miss and his finnesse shot is really good because of his 96 Curve, he even made 2 outside the box finnesse shots despite only having 82 longshots. Passing - 8/10 while I played him at striker I can definitely see someone playing him at CAM because of his passing stats 94 vision, 90 short passing and 96 curve make him a really good passer, barely missed a pass even on his weakfoot. Dribbling 8/10- While he doesn't dribble like ben yedder or neymar his dribbling is still really good for someone that is 6"1 and has high and average body type, probably the best dribbler that i've used that is over 6" ft tall. Defending- N/A. Physical 8/10- his physicallity is amazing, 85 strength means that he rarely gets pushed off the ball. Overall, this card is Amazing, I definetely recomend going for the 87 if you have the time.

Do not sleep on this card
By Reubenw13, 13-02-2021

First of all, I am a Dortmund fan so possibilities are that the review could be slightly biased, but this card insane and out of this world. I sweated about 6 hours or so just to get this card and I am not disappointed with it, even within only 5 games. I play him up top at left striker alongside Delort's player of the month, and both of them bang in goals at least 5 between them a game.

Pace-

With a hunter this man has almost maxed out pace, and he indeed feels almost as quick as players like Mbappe but his agility makes him feel slightly slower on the ball, but still good.

9/10

Shooting-

As I mentioned earlier is that he scores many goals a game, with his finishing being very good, with hunter. His curve also helps his finesse shots, especially the ball-roll, finesse shot combo. His 4 star weak foot actually feels better than that and is key in being able to have no problems in shooting off of either foot.

9/10

Passing-

One of my favorite parts about this card is his high passing stats. I have had problems with striker cards in the past is that they can't pass. If I need I can give him the ball to his feet and trust him to dribble, and then release a reliable pass to a wide player of my other striker.

8/10

Dribbling-

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this cards dribbling, in fact his only problem might be that, he is rather tall so is slightly more unresponsive than shorter players. $ star skills is nice as well, and he keeps the ball at his feet.

8/10

Defending-

Irrelevent

Physicality-

He is quite strong, which means that he can't be bodied off of the ball. Although his aggression isn't the best it isn't to bad.

DO HIM NOWWWWW!!!
By Reshirex, 14-02-2021

Do him. I can't stress enough how amazing this guy is. He is amazing. He may take 27 games at minimum to do however it is worth it. Fut champs takes 30 games and we all know what fut champs rewards are like. This guy is a card that i guarantee will last you until tots. EASILY. His shooting is superb, his dribbling is amazing even with the balance and body type, his strength is fantastic. Even his passing is super good. Brazillian and bundesliga links give this guy a lot of options including players like neymar, matheus cunha, gnabry and other sbcs and tradeable promo players ea added. It is super easy to do this card. I got the 6 wins in 8 games super easily and whilst other objectives may take a while this one is simply just score with him and relax. Like me, i didn't do fut champs this week just to do this objective and whilst all of saturday today has been a grind i think it was so worth it for the this card. BTW you don't need a shooting upgrade. If you watch my player review you can see below you'll understanding what i mean. His shot power is just insane.

Most Underrated Striker
By TehliTehli, 14-02-2021

When this card came out I checked out his stats and was already hyped to have it in my team.

The path to the 87 Reinier cost much time and sweat but all I can say after 22 Weekend League with him is that he is an absolute phenomenom.

Lets dive into the review!

Pace: 9/10

His pace is just perfect for a striker in the current state of the game. Put a hunter on him and he deliveres anything you need in terms of acceleration and sprint speed.

He is not an MBappé or Lozano but you cannot complain.

Shooting: 11/10

His shooting is just endgame. It feels like he does not miss and scores even the difficult shots. His weakfoot is very solid and even though he has only 82 longshots, he is able to strike from long distance consistantly. His curve shots are extraordinary as you would expect from him with 97 curve.

I had players like MBappé and Ronaldo in my ST Spots before but this man has by far the best shooting touch of them.

Passing: 8/10

As I used him as a striker in the 5-3-2 formation he hadn't have to play many difficult passes but the passes you expect him to do are done with perfection. He is especially good when it comes to L1+Triangle passes.

Dribbling: 8/10

His player model is very big and he is very tall in general which limits his agility to some extend. You cannot compare him to a Neymar of course but his dribbling is on point. He does what he needs to do, nothing more nothing less.

Defending: No Rating

In terms of defense I cannot give him any grade. What I can say is that he intercepts some balls due to his length.

Physicality: 10/10

He is just bullying defenders. No matter if it is Varane, Gomez, Van Dijk or anybody else he just bodies them away.

Special trait: Shooting power

If Reinier has any room to shoot it seems like he wants to put the goalkeeper into the back of the net as well. His shots are so fast and you score so many goals aiming to the short post when coming from the wings. Its just stunning, I have never seen a card in FIFA do things like that.

Summary: 9.5/10

All in all Reinier is a god tier striker in FIFA 21 and I recommend doing the academy quests to everyone. This card is worth every minute if the grind, trust me.

By Ommarr69, 14-02-2021

If you have the time and he fits do him with no doubt, if he was on the market he would be 700k plus and i'm not over exaggerating but his 85 is good and only takes 6 games to do, compared to the 87 who takes 16 plus more games. I pair him with david fs and a deadly combo

Absolute Beast!
By OwainKidCooud, 05-04-2021

What can I say about this card. He has just been amazing for me since I started a Brazil only road to glory around the time the future stars promo was released. Playing him just in front of Neymar in a 4231 as my sole striker he has provided 105 goals and 66 assists in 65 games for me thus far (All weekend League and Division 2-3 Rivals) surpassing my expectations for him. This RTG was made on my second account and my main account has the likes of base Eusabio and Mid Dalglish as my strikers and I can confidently say that I would choose Reiner over mid Dalglish any day, Reinier just has a better shot, better passing, better physicals and I can't see him being shunted from my team unless I packed a Brazilian Icon Moments.

Shooting: This guy has a rocket of a right foot, he is the closest I have come to R9 in terms of shot power, he has that same feel where the ball rockets off his boot and almost breaks the net. 9 time out of 10 he smashes it top bins and the keeper is left wondering what just happened. He also has an uncanny knack for volleys, best player I have used for volleying in the entire game, it nearly always goes in. At 92 Positioning 99 Finishing 99 Shot Power 99 Volleys and 97 Curve just leads this guys to be a goal merchant.

Dribbling: Although he does not feel like Neymar on the ball, Reinier has some great dribbling, his touch never fails and a balance of 99 Agility 89 Balance and 99 Dribbling with the finisher chem style he can turn defenders inside out quite well and the 4* skills keep him creative enough to create space before smashing it in the net.

Pace: At 91 pace it might seem like he wouldn't be fast enough to burst through the majority of sweaty defenses but it was never a problem for me, it feels like he has closer to 95 pace and I rarely have anyone catching him once he has passed them.

Strength: He has 85 strength without a chem style to boost it and honestly you don't need to boost it. He's no Akinfenwa but I managed to score many a goal or lay off plenty of assists by shielding the ball and turning the defender with Reinier.

Passing: This guy has 94 vision and 90 short pass without a chem style and I don't need to say much more. Although playing striker he managed to get more assists than games played and paired with his 4* skills and good hold up playing you could probably have a good time playing him at CAM.

Weak Foot: Reinier's weak foot isn't really a con but being an honest reviewier I have be transparent and let you know that on occasions he was let down by his weak foot. While mostly fine you do notice that he sometimes he just misses a shot that he usually would bury if he was on his right foot and he doesn't have that deadly power on his left that you become so accustomed to when on his right.

Heading: Probably his only true weakness but considering the meta of the game or your style of play it may not matter, but I'm not even sure if I scored one header with him. At 68 jumping he just rarely seems a threat from corners but as I said earlier, his volleys are just simply sublime so if you opt for lower crosses or the double tap dink passes he will bury the chances.

4* wf?
By Geobell06, 15-02-2021

I used Reinier in a 5-3-2 formation for 10 games after completing his objectives, and he was worth my time and more. It took me about 2 days, and about 7 ours worth of playing time to obtain this card, and I must say that I was much helped by this community. So because of this, after I got my 6 wins, I gave the win to all my opponents, and I suggest that you do the same. Now, onto the review. As a div 4, and gold 2 player, I can say much about how he performs against elite tier opponents, however against gold players, he will win you the game.

Main Attribute : Shooting

As the title says, I do not believe that he has a 4*wf. With 97 curve and 97 shot power and finishing with a hunter, his finesses are incredible. Left or right foot, he finishes everything. I'm not sure what about him makes it this way, but his shots are also the only ones that don't get AI blocked by Varane. He has been the only card, other than FB Rooney last year, that I have felt comfortable shooting from ridiculous scenarios in. With a hunter, his shooting is essentially maximised, so it doesn't surprise me how he finishes everything. His long shots are also brilliant, nestling in the corners constantly, id compare them most to FFS Jones.

Pace:

He doesn't have any type of custom animations in game, and so he wont feel quick like an Mbappe, but that doesn't mean he wont outpace everyone on the pitch. You may not notice just how blisteringly quick he is due to his running style, however he did body then outpace headliners Lozano one game, proving to me that the 99 pace with a chemistry style is in fact correct.

Passing:

I have used the likes of Ronaldinho, and Neymar as the playmaker striker before, and he is on par with both of them. his through balls are always perfect, and short one-two's are never amiss. It is a whole new standard to have such a complete striker like him. If you like strikers with reliable passing, you will love him. I believe he could even play CAM with an engine.

Dribbling:

Here is what I would argue as being the weakest point of the card. By no means is he a bad dribbler, not at all, he still has the close touch dribbling skills to work in tight spaces, but he wont feel smooth on the ball. His eight and body type are what do this for him, if he was 5'8 with this dribbling, he would feel Neymar esc, however he just doesn't. The 4*sm and 93 agility are more than enough to compensate, however. Skill moves come off well wit this card due to the flair trait, and the ball doesn't seem to stray to far away from him after a scoop turn or berba spin.

Defending:

Largely irrelevant due to the fact that I have him on stay forward, however, in the few situations where i manually pulled him back he was brilliant at pushing player off the ball. I also use press after possession loss, and so when losing it in the attacking third, he was always first to recover it and put me on the front foot again.

Physicality:

Again, here he was brilliant. For a card that is responsive, you don't usually expect a high level of physicality, or a physical presence, but there is no doubt in my mind that he has one. For a 6'1 player, He feels incredibly strong, e is the same height as Auba in game, and yet you would never believe it. He can easily shield the ball from the likes of Varane and Van Dijk, and the has the dribbling to turn them inside out. When recovering a lost ball, it is also great as he can easily body people. Another great advantage is that despite his 99 pace, Varane will always catch up to him on the through ball, and that's just Varane, but he has the strength to hold him off and then score.

Conclusion:

I spent 7 hours of my time getting this card, and I have no doubts that it is worth it. Th FFS academy objectives were one of my favourite features from last year's game, during my favourite promo of the year. This year, these objectives and the community are the only things that got me through this bullshit gameplay. For a card that i think would be between 350-450k on the market, I can't complain. With what feels like a 5*wf, and insane stats across the board everywhere else, it is incredible. On the 60th minute, I tend to substitute in freeze Hazard, who I was lucky enough to pack . As a green link, they are incredible, one is incredibly responsive and one has a huge physical presence, and both are rapid and finish everything. So, to finish, an easily linkable card, with insane stats a a 5*wf, for less games than a WL, you would be crazy to miss him.

La

  • Pace - absolutely blistering
  • Shooting - finishes from absolutely anywhere, with what feels like a 5*wf
  • Passing - cant go wrong, 100% pass accuracy in all 10 games
  • Physical - has a large presence and good strength due to 6'1 height
  • Recoveries - wins every single stupid recovery tackle, another OP thing this year
  • Dribbling - absolutely quality, but not silky smooth like a neymar
  • Lack of traits - not that he needs them

Trust me Hes cracked
By Subeyrrr, 14-03-2021

He was so good is the first thing i have to say is that. Also i used a hunter. Then i can get in the review the card the biggest thing about this cards height unironically .He is quite big and this is both a blessing and a curse he is no neymar but he is still quite agile as his stats say so dont expect a neymar type of dribbler but he can do a job. Then we can talk about the shooting finneses , long shots, close shots and top bins is all you get hes great but this is what you expect.Passing is good above average but nothing special but whats key is curve he can do them finesses.Weak foot is better than it says 5 star.Physicals are great he keeps up for the the whole 90 and more and his jumping and strength are very nice. Now the pace which is great he feels rapid which is helped by the agility and and balance which are very high for someone of his height. Then we can go to the dribbling he has good composure and the dribbling is very responsive which great as that was my problem with the 85 (which i thought was horrible) and the speed he can turn has confused many opponents if i could compare this card to baby ronaldo Which is a great sign. What is bad thats that this is a late review as i made a review which was under 200 characters so didnt work this review was for anyone who is thinking of throwing him in a sbc. DON'T. HE IS AMAZING.

REINIER, THE BEST WORST PLAYER I HAVE TRIED
By NordicSpecial, 18-02-2021

So this is my first review but I feel like I have to do one for this weird player.

The thing to start with is obviously hes name, its Reinier and backwards it also Reinier. Already things are starting to get weird, but now to hes card. He takes a whole lot of time to complete but if you want fofana you can do both at the same time if you want. I did him since I dont really have a expensive team and he would slot in perfect at ST.

If you have a good team (The Neymars, Mbappe and Ronaldo teams) he is honestly not worth it for you, but if you like me have a team for around 1 million or something like that he is a good player. He is very similar to Lautaro Martinez TIF and he is also teh striker i play next to Reinier

I used a hunter on him in the beginnig but I felt that the dribbling was a litlle weird so i put a finisher on him and it felt so much better. He scores basically every game but he can also be invincebale the whole game exept for that one moment when he scores. Another thing thats is a little anoying with him is hes body type and length. He is 6,1 and high/average body type and that really forces you to have the finisher on him otherwise he will feel clunky ( he still does sometimes).

He is still a very good player and if you like to play a 2 striker formation or just likes to have your strikers involved in the build up he has har really good passing foot and a strong body so you can feed him the ball and he will be able to hold off the opponent and pass the ball to another player, he also have an good eye for goal. He also makes clevery runs and is deadly infront of goal.

  • Passing
  • Finishing
  • Build up play
