What If team 2 was generally speaking very underwhelming, but I knew I needed this card as soon as I saw it. I ran Diatta as a striker alongside Dominik Szoboszlai in a 3-5-2, and all games were played in the weekend league.
Best Attribute: Lean Body Type
As someone who has spent a lot of time on the game, it is very apparent how much body type affects stats like dribbling, balance, pace, and strength. Diatta's lean body type compliments his already absurd stats perfectly and makes him one of if not the most responsive card I've played with this year.
This man is absolutely rapid. I played him with a deadeye, and even without the extra pace boost, there is not a single defender catching this him. Over the course of the games, I came up against a few IF Walkers, and of course, the usual suspects (Varane, Rio, and fullbacks at CB) and Diatta managed to put them all in the dust.
I don't think anyone buying this card is expecting Prime Moments Pirlo when it comes to passing, but his passing certainly wasn't a negative. He makes every pass you would expect him to make, especially when it comes to short distances. I wouldn't attempt to make any cross-field passes with him, but through balls and 1-2's are very comfortable.
Although it isn't exactly a dribbling "stat," the only reason I haven't given this card a 10/10 is because of the lack of 5-star skills. Regardless, this card feels more responsive than Neymar, in my opinion. Diatta can stop on a dime, and la croquetta's feel so silky with him. Left stick dribbling feels extremely clean with him and can easily be used to glide past defenders.
Inside the box, this guy is lights out. 4* weak foot isn't noticeable and finishes every shot that you'd expect him to and more. Outside the box, shots are slightly inconsistent, but he still has the ability to curl it in from a distance.
Strength isn't a strong suit of the card, but again I wouldn't expect it to be. He can be shoved off the ball by bigger center backs but isn't falling over at every sign of contact, which is nice. The real beauty of this card is the 99 stamina. This card genuinely gets better as the game goes on because of it. Even in the 115th minute, this card is still running laps around the defenders.
Overall this card has been extremely fun to use and wreaks havoc on just about any defense he comes up against.
When i heard that gelson martins was going to get a what if i was so gassed, but instead we get this machine as a player, i really like playing im on Ram on 4231, he is just insane. if you need a winger with insane pace, nice dribbling and a clinical finesse shot buy this mf. He is the best winger i have ever used and last year i had toty Messi.
WOW! Packed this card from the 84+ player pick and he surprised me with how good he is. His stats do not lie like many other cards on the game. He can dribble, shoot and even pass. In fact, in some ways, he even plays better than his stats say! In my opinion, the only dribblers on the game that can turn as fast as him is saint maximin and neymar. Definitely underpriced and I can't wait for him to be upgraded so he is even better.
This card makes Ryan Kent look bad especially if he gets the +2.
97 pace already so yeah speaks for it self
For a winger this good and if you can get into the box I'm sure he will score no problems with it apart from volleys and pens but they don't matter as much for your winger IMO and the 91 shot power makes up for it
For a winger 88 isn't the best but its surely not bad his dribbling in games good but the composure could be boosted but that about it.
The passing isn't great definitely needs a boost with the upgrade but the dribbling and shooting makes up for it.
Defending don't matter as he attacking player
Strength and aggression are bad but the 99 Stamina and Jumping makes up for it and he could potentially win some headers
This Card is nuts and if you pack him untradeable use him as a super sub
Okay so picture the scene, its 2-2 just before half time and the ball drops to ur centre midfielder just inside the oppositions half and you see this guy making a run in between the centre halves so you play a through ball and usually in this scenario it will look promising but ultimately varane will somehow catch you. WELL THINK AGAIN, if you have this guy in your team those days are over he is unbelievably fast and with the 99 stamina he will be fast from minute 1 to minute 2700 In ur 30 WL games. With a skill rating of 2100 in rivals and pushing for Elite 3 in WL I cannot wait to unleash this absolute G onto defences this weekend and for less than 100k he will be preffered over mbappe.
Varane can't catch him
Shooting is brilliant with Marksman will score from anywhere inside the box
Stamina is 99
If I was comparing him to anyone It would be mbappe as similar running style but this man is faster
Not as agile as a mane, salah type player but in a straight line is much much faster
Sometimes I'll pick up a player in FIFA who's card has elite stats, but doesn't show those stats in game. They'll have a good agility stat, but they'll feel like a bus in-game if they're too tall or not have the right body type. Krépin Diatta's What If card has this quality, but it the completely opposite sense. Some may see his stats and think that he has a decent card, but nothing special, hence why he is pretty cheap. But in-game, even when off-chem or coming from the bench, EA must have boosted this guy's in-game programming, because he's next-level (keep in mind this is also before his potential upgrade). He has elite pace and dribbling, which feel the same if not better than that of TOTY Davies, who I own and respect greatly. Diatta also has incredible shooting, despite not having any traits and having seemingly average shooting stats for an attacker. The 4 star weak-foot EA claim he has is also fake/secretly boosted, as he honestly feels like he has some sort of hidden 5 star weak-foot because I score so often with it while feeling no difference to his stronger right foot. Some people may be put off or discouraged by his 80 passing, but I can assure you that, even without a pass-strengthening chem style (I use a finisher), he is the most prolific creator on my team. That's not to say that he passes like prime Pirlo or anything, but his passing does not hold him back from being able to play anywhere in attack, even as a CAM/CF as I do. I could write a novel about the many other great things about the card, like his runs and positioning, or his fight-for-the-badge feel with his stamina, work-rates and pressing, but all it boils down to is that this card is incredible and extremely fun to play with, and if you can fit him into your team, or even if you need a 70th minute Weekend League warrior on your bench, I highly recommend giving Monaco and Senegal's very own Krépin Diatta a spin, especially around his current price of ~100K.
Got him out of the What IF Party Bag and struggled to fit him in my team. After a link with Golovin, I am glad I did. Knew he wasn't going to be Salah with the shots but still put a few back every now and then. Where Diatta shined was when I played him at a RW. With his pace and insanely agile dribbling he created space alongside the touchline and breezed passed defenders. WIth his stamina, he did this all game. Racked up 15 assists in 20 games. For the amount of coins he is worth, give him a shout if you are in need of an agile, true winger.
Dribbling (Glued to his feet)
Shooting From Close
Lack of Finesse Shot Trait (Almost required for wingers)
Im not a pace merchant but this guy. Oh my lord. He is the only human to ever outpace a top speed cheetah i stg. He runs through players quicker than you could even imagine. Anyways onto the review, he's pretty fast as you can tell... His shooting is very solid, passing could be improved and his dribbling is extremely good (also with 99 agility), stamina is perfect and 4* sm 4* wf is always useful. +2 guaranteed. I used him mostly as a super sub but oml he just never gets caught.
FAST AFFFFFF. Good shooting and passing. INSANE dribbling. GREAT Stamina and jumping. 4* 4*. +2 guaranteed. If you're a pace merchant you will "enjoy" him
uhm. Links are annoying but realistically he is a super sub. Could be stronger but who cares when you have 162 pace.
