Bergwijn fits the meta this season. Strong on the ball, great passing, solid footwork and right footed shot for a LM. Feels much better than an 83 in-game. Always in the right place at the right time. Great movement interchange with Antonio. Definitely recommend. Get this dude before the price rise. Don't be scared off by the 2* wf.
I purchased Bergwijn as i've always liked him as a player, however I was cautious about his 2 star WF. I played my Div Rival Placements with him playing as a LM, ST, CAM, CM and LW; If you want this guy to shine I recommend playing him in the LW position. He has a good build in game which lets him shield the ball, he still feels extremely agile even though he is burley, allowing him to put defenders on their a$$ or leaving them in the Dust. His finesses flew into the net leaving the keeper routed to the spot. There was multiple scenarios when my CB were beaten and his pace is so good he managed to catch up withe the ST even though he was midway up the field. He was always in the right spots and could turn on the jets to chase an over the head through ball. He would always put in effort in a 50/50 ball winning it 60% of the time. Now, I and probably many others are weary of his 2 star WF, but let me tell you, it feels like a 4 star, somehow he still manages to find the net where ever he is playing. His link up play with my IF jamie vardy was phenomenal, they always managed to find a way to link up and score together.
He has the outside the foot shot which makes up for the 2 star WF which you cant feel.
His pace feels brilliant without a chem style
I pass alot and i look for good passing on my wingers and his passes are phenomenal
He somehow can defend surprisingly well
Has a very good shot in him
Has mad tekkers and skill alot, (Roulettes work a treat with him)
He is feels so strong it's hard to steal the ball from him, he is strong has a good dribbeling and a nice pace this combination is perfect for fifa 21. You use a depht pass and he is gone! You can easily cut to the inside and give a cross of out play some players with his agillity and dribbling combination with the 4 star skills.
Strong
Good pace
4 star skill moves
Good passing
A absolute beast
2 star weakfoot - sometimes if you have the chance to shoot and he shoots the ball with his weakfoot you shoot to the parking place outside the stadium, aswell with crosses if you cross with his weakfoot it isnt a usefull cross..
Solid in defense for a winger, and a very good attacker. High pace, decent dribbling, and great positioning allowed for both counter-attacks and slow build up plays. He could score an assist, though he probably could have more often, but he has a knack to do well in tough games. I played him in a 4-4-2 and a 4-2-4 formation and found him effective in both, He is used better as a setup player rather than a scorer. His physicality isn't ideal, but put him in a place where he is free to roam and create chances than he can be deadly.

Play against players who just go out and tackle rather than sitting back.
